Telescopic arm for a pc table

Abstract

Rotating telescopic column that includes an outer sleeve ( 7 ) with a number of interior cams, a telescopic sleeve ( 11 ) located inside the outer sleeve ( 7 ) and that has a corresponding number of outer slots ( 15 ), as the cams in the outer sleeve ( 7 ) is designed to intervene in the slots ( 15 ) in the telescopic sleeve ( 11 ) and thereby prevents the telescopic sleeve from turning relative to the outer sleeve, a locking clamping mechanism attached to the outer sleeve ( 7 ), and grip the telescopic sleeve ( 11 ), and is designed to lock the telescopic sleeve to the outer sleeve when the telescopic sleeve is in a selected position relative to the outer sleeve, an axle ( 10 ) located inside the telescopic sleeve ( 11 ) and is rotatable in relation to this.

1 . A rotating telescopic column, comprising:
 an outer sleeve,   a telescopic sleeve located inside the outer sleeve,   a lockable clamp mechanism that is attached to the outer sleeve and grips the telescopic sleeve and is designed to lock the telescopic sleeve to the outer sleeve when the telescopic sleeve is in a selected position relative to the outer sleeve,   a shaft located inside the telescopic sleeve and which is rotatable in relation to this,   wherein the outer sleeve has a number of internal cams, the telescopic sleeve has a corresponding number of outer slots, as the cams in the outer sleeve are adapted to intervene in the slots in the telescopic sleeve and thereby prevent the telescopic sleeve from turning relative to the outer sleeve.

A rotating telescopic column according to  claim 1 , wherein the lockable clamping mechanism includes a locking sleeve with locking knobs, wherein the locking sleeve is attached to the outer sleeve, and a locking ring is arranged to clamp the locking tabs against the telescopic sleeve. 
     
     
         3 . A rotating telescopic column according to  claim 1 , further comprising spring washers arranged between a screw head on the shaft and an end of the telescopic sleeve, wherein the spring washers are adapted to determine the friction between the shaft and telescopic sleeve. 
     
     
         4 . A rotating telescopic column according to  claim 1 , further comprises first and second end caps mounted on the ends of the telescopic sleeve adapted to act as bearings for the axle. 
     
     
         5 . A rotating telescopic column according to  claim 1 , wherein the telescopic sleeve includes an outer and an inner tube connected by a number of longitudinal bridges. 
     
     
         6 . A PC table comprising a table top and a fastening mechanism having a rotatable telescopic column according to  claim 1  being arranged between the table top and the fastening mechanism.
