Abstract
An ink composition that includes stearyl stearamide, N,N′-ethylene bisoleamide, at least one wax, at least one antioxidant, and at least one solvent dye colorant is useful as a phase change ink.

stearyl stearamide, N,N′-ethylene bisoleamide, at least one wax, at least one antioxidant, and at least one solvent dye colorant.

A phase change ink composition comprising an ink vehicle and a colorant, wherein the phase change ink is solid at temperatures of from about 20° C. to about 27° C. and exhibits a viscosity of from about 1 to about 20 centipoise (cP) at an elevated temperature at which the phase change ink is to be jetted, wherein the ink vehicle comprises
stearyl stearamide,
N,N′-ethylene bisoleamide,
at least one wax, and
at least one antioxidant, and wherein the colorant comprises at least one solvent dye colorant.
12 . The phase change ink composition according to claim 11 , wherein the at least one wax comprises a mixture of at least one Fischer-Tropsch wax and at least one fatty acid ester wax.
