Abstract

A system and method to provide financial products throughout the life of a customer. The present invention determines the life status of a customer. The life status is determined by analyzing the customer information from a variety of sources. This information is filtered or inputted into an algorithmic model to identify appropriate financial products to offer to the customer. In addition, the customer's creditworthiness is used to determine or optimize the financial product offered to the customer.

         35 . A method according to claim 31 , further comprising:
receiving updated customer information; and revising, based on the updated customer information, the customer's life status.

         36 . A method according to claim 35 , comprising:
selecting, from the set of financial products, a second financial product for the customer based on the revised life status using a data structure that relates life status types to corresponding financial products.

37 . A method according to claim 36 , wherein selecting the second financial product comprises:
selecting, by the processor, the second financial product based on the customer's creditworthiness of the customer.

38 . A system for providing a financial product to a customer, the system comprising:
a non-transitory memory storing instructions; and a processor executing the instructions to cause the system to perform operations including:
 receiving customer information from a purchase database, an application database, a call center database, an Internet database, or a public records database;
analyzing the customer information using a filter that categorizes a customer into a life status that corresponds to the customer's demographic classification; and
selecting, from a set of financial products, a first financial product for the customer based on the life status.

39 . A system according to claim 38 , wherein the operations further include:
generating an offer for the first financial product to the customer.

40 . A system according to claim 38 , wherein selecting the first financial product further comprises:
selecting the first financial product based on the customer's creditworthiness of the customer.

41 . A system according to claim 38 , wherein selecting the first financial product comprises:
analyzing a data structure that relates life status types to corresponding financial products; and selecting the first financial product based on the analysis of the data structure.

42 . A system according to claim 38 , wherein the operations further include:
receiving updated customer information; and revising, based on the updated customer information, the customer's life status.

43 . A system according to claim 42 , wherein the operations further include:
selecting, from the set of financial products, a second financial product for the customer based on the revised life status using a data structure that relates life status types to corresponding financial products.

44 . A system according to claim 43 , wherein selecting the second financial product comprises:
Selecting the second financial product based on the customer's creditworthiness of the customer.

45 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium containing instructions which, when executed on a processor, perform a method comprising:
receiving customer information from a purchase database, an application database, a call center database, an Internet database, or a public records database; analyzing the customer information using a filter that categorizes a customer into a life status that corresponds to the customer's demographic classification; and selecting, from a set of financial products, a first financial product for the customer based on the life status.

46 . The computer-readable storage medium according to claim 45 , wherein the method comprises:
generating an offer for the first financial product to the customer.

47 . The computer-readable storage medium according to claim 45 , wherein selecting the first financial product comprises:
selecting the first financial product based on the customer's creditworthiness of the customer and based on a data structure that relates life status types to corresponding financial products.

48 . The computer-readable storage medium according to claim 45 , wherein the method comprises:
receiving updated customer information; revising, based on the updated customer information, the customer's life status; and selecting, from the set of financial products, a second financial product for the customer based on the revised life status using a data structure that relates life status types to corresponding financial products.
