Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
.- 73 . (canceled)

. A method of treating cancer in a patient comprising the step of administering to the patient an effective amount of OBCAM polypeptide to ameliorate the cancer.

. A pharmaceutical composition comprising OBCAM polypeptide and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

. A method according to claim 74 wherein cancer cells in the patient have mutant or missing OBCAM alleles.

. A method according to claim 74 wherein cancer cells in the patient have a methylated OBCAM gene.

. A method according to claim 74 wherein the patient has a cancer selected from the group consisting of ovarian cancer, colorectal cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, cervical cancer, brain cancer and leukaemia.

. A method according to claim 78 wherein the patient has ovarian cancer.

. A method according to claim 74 further comprising administering to the patient an effective amount of another therapeutic anti-cancer agent.

. A method according to claim 74 wherein the patient is a human patient.

. A method according to claim 74 wherein the patient is an animal model of cancer.

. A method according to claim 74 wherein the OBCAM polypeptide is administered intra-peritoneally.

. A method according to claim 74 wherein the OBCAM polypeptide is a functional fusion protein.

. A pharmaceutical composition according to claim 75 wherein the OBCAM polypeptide is a functional fusion protein.
