Abstract
An advection-type fan includes a frame, an impeller and a cover plate. The frame has a bottom plate mounted with a shaft seat. The bottom plate has a lateral wall on a periphery thereof that surrounds the shaft seat. The lateral wall has an air-guiding portion, a partitioning portion and an air-separating portion. An air inlet is formed between the air-guiding portion and the partitioning portion, and an air outlet is formed between the air-guiding portion and the air-separating portion. The partitioning portion comprises a first end defining the air inlet and a second end extending towards the air outlet. The air-separating portion is arranged on the second end of the partitioning portion. The impeller is rotatably mounted on the shaft seat. The cover plate is disposed on a top of the lateral wall of the frame.

a frame having a bottom plate mounted with a shaft seat, wherein the bottom plate has a lateral wall on a periphery thereof that surrounds the shaft seat, the lateral wall has an air-guiding portion, a partitioning portion and an air-separating portion, an air inlet is formed between the air-guiding portion and the partitioning portion, an air outlet is formed between the air-guiding portion and the air-separating portion, the partitioning portion comprises a first end defining the air inlet and a second end extending towards the air outlet, and the air-separating portion is arranged on the second end of the partitioning portion; an impeller rotatably mounted on the shaft seat; and a cover plate disposed on a top of the lateral wall of the frame.
2 . The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the air-separating portion has an acute end away from the second end of the partitioning portion by a vertical distance and is more close to the shaft seat than the second end is.
3 . The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the acute end is away from the second end of the partitioning portion by a horizontal distance and is more close to the air-guiding portion than the second end is.
4 . The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the acute end defines the air-separating portion as having a guiding face and a leeward face, with the guiding face facing the air outlet and the leeward face facing the first end of the partitioning portion.
5 . The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the guiding face is tangent to the impeller.
6 . The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the air-guiding portion has an inner wall that forms an air-guiding face where it connects to the air inlet, and the air-guiding face gradually approaches the partitioning portion in a vertical direction as the air-guiding face extends to the air inlet.

The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the air-guiding portion has an inner wall that forms an air-guiding face where it connects to the air outlet, and the air-guiding face gradually approaches the partitioning portion in a horizontal direction as the air-guiding face extends to the air outlet.
8 . A frame of an advection-type fan, comprising:
a bottom plate mounted with a shaft seat; and a lateral wall arranged on a periphery of the shaft seat and surrounding the shaft seat, wherein the lateral wall has an air-guiding portion, a partitioning portion and an air-separating portion, an air inlet is formed between the air-guiding portion and the partitioning portion, an air outlet is formed between the air-guiding portion and the air-separating portion, the partitioning portion comprises a first end defining the air inlet and a second end extending towards the air outlet, and the air-separating portion is arranged on the second end of the partitioning portion.
9 . The frame of the advection-type fan as claimed in claim 8 , wherein the air-separating portion has an acute end that is away from the second end of the partitioning portion by a vertical distance and is more close to the shaft seat than the second end is.
10 . The frame of the advection-type fan as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the acute end is away from the second end of the partitioning portion by a horizontal distance and is more close to the air-guiding portion than the second end is.
11 . The frame of the advection-type fan as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the acute end defines the air-separating portion as having a guiding face and a leeward face, with the guiding face facing the air outlet and the leeward face facing the first end of the partitioning portion.
12 . The frame of the advection-type fan as claimed in claim 8 , wherein the air-guiding portion has an inner wall that forms an air-guiding face where it connects to the air inlet, and the air-guiding face gradually approaches the partitioning portion in a vertical direction as the air-guiding face extends to the air inlet.
13 . The frame of the advection-type fan as claimed in claim 8 , wherein the air-guiding portion has an inner wall that forms an air-guiding face where it connects to the air outlet, and the air-guiding face gradually approaches the partitioning portion in a horizontal direction as the air-guiding face extends to the air outlet.
14 . An advection-type fan, comprising:
a frame having a bottom plate mounted with a shaft seat, wherein the bottom plate has a lateral wall on a periphery thereof that surrounds the shaft seat, the lateral wall has an air-guiding portion, a partitioning portion and an air-separating portion, an air inlet is formed between the air-guiding portion and the partitioning portion, an air outlet is formed between the air-guiding portion and the air-separating portion, the partitioning portion comprises a first end defining the air inlet and a second end extending towards the air outlet, and the air-separating portion is arranged on the second end of the partitioning portion; an impeller rotatably mounted on the shaft seat; and a cover plate disposed on a top of the lateral wall of the frame, wherein the frame is defined with a reference line that extends through the first and second ends of the partitioning portion, the frame is further defined with a datum line, a first auxiliary line and a second auxiliary line extended from the shaft seat thereof to the reference line, the datum line is perpendicular to the reference line, both the first and second auxiliary lines extend through and intersect with the reference line and are located further away from the first end of the partitioning portion than the datum line is, and the air-separating portion has an acute end located within an angle range between the first and second auxiliary lines.
15 . The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 14 , wherein the first auxiliary line has an angle of 5 degrees with respect to the datum line.
16 . The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 14 , wherein the second auxiliary line has an angle of 35 degrees with respect to the datum line.
17 . The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 14 , wherein the acute end is away from the second end of the partitioning portion by a vertical distance and is more close to the shaft seat than the second end is.
18 . The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 17 , wherein the acute end is away from the second end of the partitioning portion by a horizontal distance and is more close to the air-guiding portion than the second end is.
19 . The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 18 , wherein the acute end defines the air-separating portion as having a guiding face and a leeward face, with the guiding face facing the air outlet and the leeward face facing the first end of the partitioning portion.
20 . The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 19 , wherein the guiding face is tangent to the impeller.
21 . The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 14 , wherein the air-guiding portion has an inner wall that forms an air-guiding face where it connects to the air inlet, and the air-guiding face gradually approaches the partitioning portion in a vertical direction as the air-guiding face extends to the air inlet.

The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 14 , wherein the air-guiding portion has an inner wall that forms an air-guiding face where it connects to the air outlet, and the air-guiding face gradually approaches the partitioning portion in a horizontal direction as the air-guiding face extends to the air outlet.
23 . The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 14 , wherein the bottom plate is in an irregular shape.
24 . A frame of an advection-type fan, comprising:
a bottom plate mounted with a shaft seat; and a lateral wall arranged on a periphery of the shaft seat and surrounding the shaft seat, wherein the lateral wall has an air-guiding portion, a partitioning portion and an air-separating portion, an air inlet is formed between the air-guiding portion and the partitioning portion, an air outlet is formed between the air-guiding portion and the air-separating portion, the partitioning portion comprises a first end defining the air inlet and a second end extending towards the air outlet, and the air-separating portion is arranged on the second end of the partitioning portion, wherein the frame is defined with a reference line that extends through the first and second ends of the partitioning portion, the frame is further defined with a datum line, a first auxiliary line and a second auxiliary line extended from the shaft seat thereof to the reference line, the datum line is perpendicular to the reference line, both the first and second auxiliary lines extend through and intersect with the reference line and are located further away from the first end of the partitioning portion than the datum line is, and the air-separating portion has an acute end located within an angle range between the first and second auxiliary lines.
25 . The frame of the advection-type fan as claimed in claim 24 , wherein the first auxiliary line has an angle of 5 degrees with respect to the datum line.
26 . The frame of the advection-type fan as claimed in claim 24 , wherein the second auxiliary line has an angle of 35 degrees with respect to the datum line.
27 . The frame of the advection-type fan as claimed in claim 24 , wherein the acute end is away from the second end of the partitioning portion by a vertical distance and is more close to the shaft seat than the second end is.
28 . The frame of the advection-type fan as claimed in claim 27 , wherein the acute end is away from the second end of the partitioning portion by a horizontal distance and is more close to the air-guiding portion than the second end is.
29 . The frame of the advection-type fan as claimed in claim 28 , wherein the acute end defines the air-separating portion as having a guiding face and a leeward face, with the guiding face facing the air outlet and the leeward face facing the first end of the partitioning portion.

The frame of the advection-type fan as claimed in claim 24 , wherein the air-guiding portion has an inner wall that forms an air-guiding face where it connects to the air inlet, and the air-guiding face gradually approaches the partitioning portion in a vertical direction as the air-guiding face extends to the air inlet.

The frame of the advection-type fan as claimed in claim 24 , wherein the air-guiding portion has an inner wall that forms an air-guiding face where it connects to the air outlet, and the air-guiding face gradually approaches the partitioning portion in a horizontal direction as the air-guiding face extends to the air outlet.
32 . The frame of the advection-type fan as claimed in claim 24 , wherein the bottom plate is in an irregular shape.
33 . An advection-type fan, comprising:
a frame having a bottom plate mounted with a shaft seat, wherein the bottom plate has a lateral wall on a periphery thereof that surrounds the shaft seat, the lateral wall has an air-guiding portion, a partitioning portion and an air-separating portion, an air inlet is formed between the air-guiding portion and the partitioning portion, an air outlet is formed between the air-guiding portion and the air-separating portion, the partitioning portion comprises a first end defining the air inlet and a second end extending towards the air outlet, and the air-separating portion is arranged on the second end of the partitioning portion; an impeller rotatably mounted on the shaft seat; and a cover plate disposed on a top of the lateral wall of the frame, wherein the air-separating portion has an acute end, the frame is defined with a datum line and an auxiliary line extended outwards from the shaft seat, the datum line extends through the second end of the partitioning portion, the auxiliary line extends through the air outlet, and the acute end is located within an angle range between the datum line and the auxiliary line.
34 . The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 33 , wherein the datum line and the auxiliary line has an angle of 45 degrees therebetween.
35 . The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 33 , wherein the acute end is away from the second end of the partitioning portion by a vertical distance and is more close to the shaft seat than the second end is.
36 . The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 35 , wherein the acute end is away from the second end of the partitioning portion by a horizontal distance and is more close to the air-guiding portion than the second end is.
37 . The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 36 , wherein the acute end defines the air-separating portion as having a guiding face and a leeward face, with the guiding face facing the air outlet and the leeward face facing the first end of the partitioning portion.
38 . The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 37 , wherein the guiding face is tangent to the impeller.
39 . The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 33 , wherein the air-guiding portion has an inner wall that forms an air-guiding face where it connects to the air inlet, and the air-guiding face gradually approaches the partitioning portion in a vertical direction as the air-guiding face extends to the air inlet.

The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 33 , wherein the air-guiding portion has an inner wall that forms an air-guiding face where it connects to the air outlet, and the air-guiding face gradually approaches the partitioning portion in a horizontal direction as the air-guiding face extends to the air outlet.
41 . The advection-type fan as claimed in claim 33 , wherein the bottom plate is in an irregular shape.
42 . A frame of an advection-type fan, comprising:
a bottom plate mounted with a shaft seat; and a lateral wall arranged on a periphery of the shaft seat and surrounding the shaft seat, wherein the lateral wall has an air-guiding portion, a partitioning portion and an air-separating portion, an air inlet is formed between the air-guiding portion and the partitioning portion, an air outlet is formed between the air-guiding portion and the air-separating portion, the partitioning portion comprises a first end defining the air inlet and a second end extending towards the air outlet, and the air-separating portion is arranged on the second end of the partitioning portion, wherein the air-separating portion has an acute end, the frame is defined with a datum line and an auxiliary line extended outwards from the shaft seat, the datum line extends through the second end of the partitioning portion, the auxiliary line extends through the air outlet, and the acute end is located within an angle range between the datum line and the auxiliary line.
43 . The frame of the advection-type fan as claimed in claim 42 , wherein the datum line and the auxiliary line has an angle of 45 degrees therebetween.
44 . The frame of the advection-type fan as claimed in claim 42 , wherein the acute end is away from the second end of the partitioning portion by a vertical distance and is more close to the shaft seat than the second end is.
45 . The frame of the advection-type fan as claimed in claim 44 , wherein the acute end is away from the second end of the partitioning portion by a horizontal distance and is more close to the air-guiding portion than the second end is.
46 . The frame of the advection-type fan as claimed in claim 45 , wherein the acute end defines the air-separating portion as having a guiding face and a leeward face, with the guiding face facing the air outlet and the leeward face facing the first end of the partitioning portion.

The frame of the advection-type fan as claimed in claim 42 , wherein the air-guiding portion has an inner wall that forms an air-guiding face where it connects to the air inlet, and the air-guiding face gradually approaches the partitioning portion in a vertical direction as the air-guiding face extends to the air inlet.
