Abstract

A one-piece container blank having a plurality of side panels each having a bottom portion which accordion folds prior to folding the plurality of side panels to form the container side walls and having top flaps and bottom flaps foldable to form the container top and the container bottom with the formed container providing a removable top portion which detaches along a separation line provided by the accordion fold to provide a remainder bottom portion.

A one-piece container blank, comprising: a first portion and a second portion, said second portion foldable to provide in part an accordion fold which provides a separation line at which a top portion of a container detaches from a remainder bottom portion of said container, said remainder bottom portion of said container having bottom side panels adjacently located to reinforcing side panels established by said accordion fold. 
     
     
         2 . A one-piece container, comprising:
 a) a top portion having foldable top flaps;   b) a bottom portion having foldable bottom flaps; and   c) an accordion fold which includes:
 i) a first accordion portion corresponding to bottom side panels of said bottom portion of said one-piece container; 
 ii) a second accordion portion foldably joined at an accordion line to said first accordion portion, said first accordion portion and said second accordion portion fold along said accordion line to adjacently engage surfaces of the first accordion portion and the second accordion portion, said second accordion portion corresponding to reinforcing side panels of said bottom portion of said one-piece container; and 
 iii) top side panels foldably joined to said second accordion portion at a separation line, said top side panels fold along said separation line to adjacently engage surfaces of said second accordion portion, said top side panels detachable along said separation line to allow removal of said top portion from said bottom portion. 
   
     
     
         3 . The one-piece container blank of any one of  claim 1  or  2 , wherein said separation line comprises perforations.
