Abstract
A multi-component medicament composition for the treatment of adverse skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis comprises a combination of a steroid and silicone.

55 . A multi-component topical medicament composition for the treatment of adverse skin conditions comprising a combination of a corticosteroid and a silicone-gel, wherein said silicone-gel has a viscosity at 25° C. of about 100-30,000 CPS.
56 . The composition of claim 55 , wherein said steroid is hydrocortisone.
58 . The composition of claim 55 , further containing vitamin E.
59 . The composition of claim 55 , comprising 0.01-70% by weight of said corticosteroid, 5-25% by weight of said silicone-gel, and 0-25% by weight of vitamin E.
60 . The composition of claim 55 , further containing a carrier.
61 . The composition of claim 60 , wherein said carrier comprises a silicone other than said silicone-gel.
64 . The composition of claim 55 , wherein said corticosteroid is a hydrocortisone, and said composition further includes vitamin E.
65 . A method of treating eczema or psoriasis comprises applying onto affected skin a multi-component topical medicament composition comprising a steroid and a silicone-gel.
66 . The method of claim 65 , wherein said steroid is hydrocortisone.
68 . The method of claim 65 , further containing vitamin E.
69 . The method of claim 65 , comprising 0.01-70% by weight of said steroid, 5-25% by weight of said silicone-gel, and 0-25% by weight of vitamin E.

74 . The method of claim 65 , wherein said steroid is a corticosteroid, and said composition further includes vitamin E.
