As such, the subject matter described herein relates to providing more consistent golf ball entry due to the stabilization of the flag stick.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A golf flag ferrule, comprising:
a ferrule adapted to be disposed on one end of a golf flag stick, said ferrule having at least two sidewalls tapering inwardly from a top portion to a bottom portion at an angle between a range of about 5 degrees to about 30 degrees.
2 . A golf flag ferrule, comprising:
a ferrule adapted to be disposed on an end of a golf flag stick wherein said ferrule has at least two sidewalls tapering inwardly from a top portion to a bottom portion at an angle of about 12 degrees.
3 . A golf flag ferrule, comprising:
a ferrule adapted to be disposed on the end of a golf flag stick wherein said ferrule comprises an inverted n-sided pyramid structure, “n” being an integer of at least 3.
4 . The golf flag ferrule of claim 1 , wherein said top portion of said ferrule is lipless.
5 . The golf flag ferrule of claim 1 , wherein said ferrule is removably attached to said end of said golf flag stick.
6 . The golf flag ferrule of claim 1 , wherein said ferrule is integral with said end of said golf flag stick.
7 . The golf flag ferrule of claim 2 , wherein said top portion of said ferrule is lipless.
8 . The golf flag ferrule of claim 2 , wherein said ferrule is removably attached to said end of said golf flag stick.
9 . The golf flag ferrule of claim 2 , wherein said ferrule is integral with said end of said golf flag stick.
10 . The golf flag ferrule of claim 3 , wherein said top portion of said ferrule is lipless.
11 . The golf flag ferrule of claim 3 , wherein said ferrule is removably attached to said end of said golf flag stick.
12 . The golf flag ferrule of claim 3 , wherein said ferrule is integral with said end of said golf flag stick.
13 . The golf flag ferrule of claim 1 wherein said ferrule is receivable within a complimentary central aperture of a golf cup.
14 . The golf flag ferrule of claim 2 wherein said ferrule is receivable within a complimentary central aperture of a golf cup.
15 . The golf flag ferrule of claim 3 wherein said ferrule is receivable within a complimentary central aperture of a golf cup.
16 . A golf cup, comprising:
a cup having a central aperture capable of removably receiving a complimentary ferrule on the end of a golf flag stick, wherein said central aperture has at least two areas tapering inwardly from a top end to a bottom end at an angle between a range of about 5 degrees to about 30 degrees.
17 . A golf cup, comprising:
a cup having a central aperture capable of removably receiving a complimentary ferrule on the end of a golf flag stick, wherein said central aperture has at least two areas tapering inwardly from a top portion to a bottom portion at an angle of about 12 degrees.
18 . A golf cup, comprising:
a cup having a central aperture capable of removably receiving a complimentary ferrule on the end of a golf flag stick, wherein said central aperture has n-areas, “n” being an integer of at least 3.
19 . A golf flag and cup system, comprising:
a golf flag stick; a ferrule disposed on an end of said golf flag stick, said ferrule having at least two sidewalls tapering inwardly from a top portion to a bottom portion at an angle between a range of about 5 degrees to about 30 degrees; a golf cup having a complimentary central aperture in which said ferrule is removably received.
20 . A golf flag and cup system, comprising:
a golf flag stick; a ferrule disposed on an end of said golf flag stick, said ferrule having at least two sidewalls tapering inwardly from a top portion to a bottom portion at an angle of about 12 degrees; a golf cup having a complimentary central aperture in which said ferrule is removably received.
21 . A golf flag and cup system, comprising:
a golf flag stick; a ferrule disposed on an end of said golf flag stick, said ferrule being an inverted n-sided pyramid structure, “n” being an integer of at least 3; a golf cup having a complimentary central aperture in which said ferrule is removably received.
22 . The golf flag and cup system of claim 19 , wherein said a top portion of said ferrule is lipless.
23 . The golf flag and cup system of claim 19 , wherein said ferrule is removably attached to said end of said golf flag stick.
24 . The golf flag and cup system of claim 19 , wherein said ferrule is integral with said end of said golf flag stick.
25 . The golf flag and cup system of claim 20 , wherein said a top portion of said ferrule is lipless.
26 . The golf flag and cup system of claim 20 , wherein said ferrule is removably attached to said end of said golf flag stick.
27 . The golf flag and cup system of claim 20 , wherein said ferrule is integral with said end of said golf flag stick.
28 . The golf flag and cup system of claim 21 , wherein said a top portion of said ferrule is lipless.
