Abstract

A bi-pod support for use with a rifle, shotgun, semi-automatic pistol, revolver, BB gun, pellet gun or a crossbow.

1 . In combination:
 a gun including a barrel;   an elongated body member having a forward end, a rearward end, an upper surface, and a lower surface;   said body member being secured to said barrel of said gun;   said body member having first and second horizontally spaced-apart elongated bores formed therein;   first and second elongated support legs having first and second ends;   at least a portion of said first and second support legs being selectively movably received by said first and second bores respectively;   said support legs being movable between a stowed position and a gun support position.   
     
     
         2 . The combination of  claim 1  wherein said gun is a shotgun. 
     
     
         3 . The combination of  claim 1  wherein said gun is a revolver. 
     
     
         4 . The combination of  claim 1  wherein said body member is selectively removably secured to said barrel of said gun. 
     
     
         5 . The combination of  claim 4  wherein a resilient attachment member is secured to said body member for selective attachment to said barrel of said gun. 
     
     
         6 . The combination of  claim 1  wherein said gun is a BB gun. 
     
     
         7 . The combination of  claim 1  wherein said gun is a pellet gun. 
     
     
         8 . In combination:
 a handgun including a frame;   an elongated body member having a forward end, a rearward end, an upper surface and a lower surface;   said body member being secured to said frame of said handgun;   said body member being secured to said barrel of said gun;   said body member having first and second horizontally spaced-apart elongated bores formed therein;   first and second elongated support legs having first and second ends;   at least a portion of said first and second support legs being selectively movably received by said first and second bores respectively;   said support legs being movable between a stowed position and a gun support position.   
     
     
         9 . The combination of  claim 8  wherein said handgun is an automatic pistol. 
     
     
         10 . The combination of  claim 8  wherein said handgun is a semi-automatic pistol. 
     
     
         11 . The combination of  claim 8  wherein said body member is selectively removably secured to said frame of said handgun. 
     
     
         12 . In combination:
 a crossbow including a stock;   an elongated body member having a forward end, a rearward end, an upper surface, and a lower surface;   said body member being secured to said stock of said crossbow;   said body member being secured to said barrel of said gun;   said body member having first and second horizontally spaced-apart elongated bores formed therein;   first and second elongated support legs having first and second ends;   at least a portion of said first and second support legs being selectively movably received by said first and second bores respectively;   said support legs being movable between a stowed position and a gun support position.   
     
     
         13 . The combination of  claim 12  wherein said body member is selectively removably secured to said stock of said crossbow. 
     
     
         14 . In combination:
 a gun including a barrel and a fore-end;   said fore-end having forward and rearward ends;   said fore-end having first and second horizontally spaced-apart elongated bores formed therein;   at least a portion of said first and second support legs being selectively movably received by said first and second bores respectively;   said support legs being movable between a stowed position and a gun support position.   
     
     
         15 . In combination:
 a gun including a barrel and a fore-end;   an elongated body member having a forward end, a rearward end, an upper surface, and a lower surface;   said body member being secured to said fore-end of said gun;   said body member having first and second horizontally spaced-apart elongated bores formed therein;   first and second elongated support legs having first and second ends;   at least a portion of said first and second support legs being selectively movably received by said first and second bores respectively;   said support legs being movable between a stowed position and a gun support position.
