Wristband with removable indicia

Abstract

A wristband with a removable indicia includes a band having a first end, a second end, an inside surface for making contact with an appendage of a user, an opposing outside surface, and at least one removable indicia, capable of displaying a marking.

1 . A wristband with removable indicia, comprising:
 a band having a first end, a second end, an inside surface configured to contact with an appendage of a user, and an opposing outside surface;   a band connector configured to removably secure the first end and the second end of the main body together;
 at least one removable indicia, each of said indicia including
 a first surface configured to display a marking, and 
 a second surface configured to be secured to the main body; and 
 
 an indicia connector having a first half secured to the band and a second half secured to the indicia, said indicia connector being configured to removably secure the indicia to at least one surface of the band. 
   
     
     
         2 . The wristband of  claim 1 , wherein said band is constructed from a pair of elongated hook and loop strap members. 
     
     
         3 . The wristband of  claim 1 , wherein each of said indicia connectors are constructed from at least one of a hook and loop material, a pair of magnetic elements and a compression fitting. 
     
     
         4 . The wristband of  claim 1 , wherein said indicia connector includes a plurality of magnetic elements embedded into a middle portion of the band, said middle portion being interposed between the inside surface and the outside surface. 
     
     
         5 . The wristband of  claim 1 , wherein the band connector is further configured to permanently secure the first end and the second end of the band together, and said band is constructed from an elastic material. 
     
     
         6 . The wristband of  claim 5 , wherein said indicia connector includes a plurality of magnetic elements embedded into a middle portion of the band, said middle portion being interposed between the inside surface and the outside surface. 
     
     
         7 . The wristband of  claim 1 , wherein at least one of the said indicia includes a shape having at least one of a character, and a geometric figure. 
     
     
         8 . The wristband of  claim 1 , wherein said marking includes at least one of a character, a letter, a geometric shape, a word and a color. 
     
     
         9 . The wristband of  claim 1 , wherein said marking includes a computer generated image. 
     
     
         10 . The wristband of  claim 1 , wherein said marking incudes a photograph 
     
     
         11 . The wristband of  claim 1 , wherein said marking includes a user generated mark. 
     
     
         12 . The wristband of  claim 1 , wherein said band connector includes at least one of a hook and loop material, a pair of magnetic elements and a compression fitting. 
     
     
         13 . A wristband with removable indicia, comprising:
 a band including
 a first elongated hook and loop strap member having a loop portion configured to make contact with an appendage of a user, 
 a second elongated hook and loop strap member having a loop portion configured to face an opposing outside surface, 
 each of said first and second elongated members being secured together to form a continuous band having a pair of ends configured to be removably secured together; and 
 at least one removable indicia, each of said indicia including
 a first surface configured to display a marking, and 
 a second surface having a hook material secured thereon, said hook material being configured to be removably secured to the loop portion of at least one of the first and second strap members. 
 
   
     
     
         14 . The wristband of  claim 13 , wherein at least one of the said indicia includes a shape having at least one of a character, and a geometric figure. 
     
     
         15 . The wristband of  claim 13 , wherein said marking includes at least one of a character, a letter, a geometric shape, a word and a color. 
     
     
         16 . The wristband of  claim 13 , wherein said marking includes a computer generated image. 
     
     
         17 . The wristband of  claim 13 , wherein said marking incudes a photograph 
     
     
         18 . The wristband of  claim 13 , wherein said marking includes a user generated mark. 
     
     
         19 . A wristband with removable indicia, comprising:
 a continuous generally circular main body having an inside surface configured to contact with an appendage of a user, and an opposing outside surface;
 at least one removable indicia, each of said indicia including
 a first surface configured to display a marking, and 
 a second surface configured to be secured to the main body; and 
 
 an indicia connector having a first half secured to the band and a second half secured to the indicia, said indicia connector being configured to removably secure the indicia to at least one surface of the band, 
 wherein said main body is constructed from a singular piece of elastic material configured to stretch and contract to a dimension of the appendage. 
   
     
     
         20 . The wristband of  claim 19 , wherein said indicia connector includes a plurality of magnetic elements embedded into a middle portion of the band, said middle portion being interposed between the inside surface and the outside surface.
