Lid of a canteen

Abstract

A lid of a canteen includes a cap, a drinking spout and a pulling member. The drinking spout is pivotally fixed in an accommodating groove of a pivotal base of the cap and the pulling member is fixed on connecting base of the cap. The accommodating groove has two sides respectively formed with a positioning groove for fitting a pivotal projection formed at two sides of the drinking spout respectively, and a recess formed in the bottom for fitting a waterproof washer. The drinking spout has two walking projections moving in sliding grooves formed in the pulling member, which includes a first notch and a second notch. As the drinking spout is driven by the pulling member to toward or backward form the cap, it can be pulled out or sheltered in the accommodating groove without being touched so that it can be hygienically.

1 . A lid of a canteen, said lid comprising:
 a cap provided with a pivotal base having an accommodating groove, a positioning groove formed in two sidewalls of said accommodating groove respectively, a recess formed in a bottom of said accommodating groove, a projecting bar located at a bottom of said cap and bored with a through hole to communicate with said recess, a connecting base formed on said cap, said connecting base further provided with a pivotal ear that is provided with a pivotal hole and an inclined surface facing one side of said accommodating groove;   a drinking spout pivotally set in said accommodating groove of said cap and provided with a lengthwise passage, a walking projection and a pivotal projection formed on two sidewalls of said drinking spout respectively, a waterproof washer installed in said recess under said drinking spout; and   a pulling member pivotally installed on said connecting base of said cap and provided with a pivotal ear formed at two sides of a bottom respectively, a pivotal hole bored in each said pivotal ear, a sliding groove cut in two corresponding sides of said pulling member respectively, a first notch formed at a bottom of each said sliding groove, a second notch formed at a top of each said sliding grooves, a bottom surface of said second notch formed inclined.

The lid of a canteen as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said pivotal base is further provided with a locking portion, an opening formed under a free end of said locking portion, an engaging groove formed in an inner wall of said locking portion, a pair of pivotal ears formed on one side of a lower portion of said pivotal base opposite to said pivotal ear and respectively bored with a bolt hole, a pressing member assembled in said opening under said locking portion of said pivotal base and provided with a locking member located at a top to engage with an engaging groove formed in an inner wall of said locking portion, a through hole bored in a bottom of said pressing member, a locking groove cut in said pressing member, a torsion spring installed between said pivotal ears of said pivotal base with one end resting on an upper surface of said cap and another end confined in said locking groove of said pressing member, a bolt inserted in said bolt holes of said pivotal ears of said pivotal base and said torsion spring and said through hole of said pressing member.

The lid of a canteen as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said pivotal base is further provided with a recessed notch formed in a top with a protruded wall having an engagement slot cut in a top, and said pulling member is further provided with a lateral fixing ridge formed at a top inner wall to engage with said engagement slot of said pivotal base.
