Use of pharmaceutical compositions in preparing pharmaceuticals for treating diabetic ulcer

Abstract

The use of pharmaceutical compositions in preparing pharmaceuticals for treating diabetic ulcer in limb or on body surface, or in preparing medical dressing. The pharmaceutical compositions consist of (A) 3 to 15% by weight of edible beeswax and (B) 85 to 97% by weight of sesame oil extract of Scutellaria root, Coptis root, Phellodendron bark, earthworm and poppy capsule, based on the total weight of the pharmaceutical compositions. In the sesame oil extract, each of Scutellaria root, Coptis root, Phellodendron bark, earthworm and poppy capsule is in an amount of 2 to 10% by weight of dry raw material based on the total weight of sesame oil. A medical dressing for treating diabetic ulcer and corresponding medicine box enclosing the said dressing are also provided.

A method for treating diabetic ulcer in limb or on a body surface comprising administering to a patient in need thereof an effective amount of at least one pharmaceutical composition comprising (A) 3 to 15% by weight of edible beeswax and (B) 85 to 97% by weight of sesame oil extract of Huangqin, Huanglian, Huangbai, earthworm and poppy capsule, based on the total weight of the pharmaceutical compositions, while in the sesame oil extract, each of Huangqin, Huanglian, Huangbai, earthworm and poppy capsule is in an amount of 2 to 10% by weight based on the total weight of sesame oil. 
     
     
         2 . The method according to  claim 1 , characterized in that said composition is externally applied. 
     
     
         3 . The method according to  claim 2 , characterized in that said externally applied composition is in the form of an oil, emulsion, paste, emplastrum or gel. 
     
     
         4 . A method for treating diabetic ulcer in limb or on a body surface comprising administering to a patient in need thereof an effective amount of at least one pharmaceutical composition comprising
 (a) 3 to 15% by weight of edible beeswax;   (b) 85 to 97% by weight of sesame oil extract of Huangqin, Huanglian, Huangbai, earthworm and poppy capsule, based on the total weight of the pharmaceutical compositions, while in the sesame oil extract, each of Huangqin, Huanglian, Huangbai, earthworm and poppy capsule is in an amount of 2 to 10% by weight based on the total weight of sesame oil and   (c) at least one pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

A method for treating diabetic ulcer in limb or on a body surface comprising administering to a patient in need thereof an effective amount of a medical dressing comprising at least one pharmaceutical composition consisting of: (A) 3 to 15% of edible beeswax and (B) 85 to 97% of sesame oil extract of Huangqin, Huanglian, Huangbai, earthworm and poppy capsule, based on the total weight of the pharmaceutical composition, while in the sesame oil extract, each of Huangqin, Huanglian, Huangbai, earthworm and poppy capsule is in an amount of 2 to 10% by weight based on the total weight of sesame oil. 
     
     
         7 . The medical dressing according to  claim 6 , characterized in that the said medical dressing comprises medical cotton gauze and medical bandage. 
     
     
         8 . The medical dressing according to  claim 6  or  7 , characterized in that the said pharmaceutical compositions comprises an agent in a form of oil, emulsion, paste, emplastrum or gel. 
     
     
         9 . The medical dressing according to  claim 6  or  7 , characterized in that the said pharmaceutical compositions still further comprises pharmaceutically acceptable carriers.

A medicine box, including pharmaceutical compositions pharmaceutical composition which comprises (A) 3 to 15% by weight of edible beeswax and (B) 85 to 97% by weight of sesame oil extract of Huangqin, Huanglian, Huangbai, earthworm and poppy capsule, based on the total weight of the pharmaceutical compositions, while in the sesame oil extract, each of Huangqin, Huanglian, Huangbai, earthworm and poppy capsule is in an amount of 2 to 10% by weight based on the total weight of sesame oil or medical dressing according to  claim 6 , and instruction for use.

A medical dressing for treating diabetic ulcer in limb or on body surface, the said dressing comprising pharmaceutical compositions consisting of (A) 3 to 15% of edible beeswax and (B) 85 to 97% of sesame oil extract of Huangqin, Huanglian, Huangbai, earthworm and poppy capsule, based on the total weight of the pharmaceutical composition, while in the sesame oil extract, each of Huangqin, Huanglian, Huangbai, earthworm and poppy capsule is in an amount of 2 to 10% by weight based on the total weight of sesame oil.
