Abstract
The present invention relates to compositions containing a novel protein and methods of using those compositions for the diagnosis and treatment of immune related disease.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 .- 3 . (canceled)
4 . A method of alleviating a T cell mediated disease characterized by stimulation of T cell proliferation in a mammal comprising administering to said mammal a therapeutically effective amount of an agonist antibody that specifically binds to the polypeptide of SEQ ID NO:2 and inhibits T cell proliferation.
5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the T cell mediated disease is an autoimmune disease.
6 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the T cell mediated disease is selected from rheumatoid arthritis (RA); asthma; psoriasis; multiple sclerosis (MS); inflammatory bowel disease (IBD); systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE); and graft-versus-host disease (GVHD).
7 . (canceled)
8 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the agonist antibody is a monoclonal antibody.
9 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the agonist antibody is an antibody fragment.
10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the antibody fragment is a single-chain antibody.
11 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the antibody fragment is a Fab, Fab′, F(ab′) 2 , or Fv fragment.
12 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the agonist antibody is a humanized antibody.
13 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the agonist antibody is an isolated human antibody.
14 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the agonist antibody specifically binds to amino acids 1-155 of SEQ ID NO:2.
15 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the mammal is a human.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
