Water flow adjusting member and water-cooling sysytem with the same
Abstract
A water-cooling system includes a number of flexible tubes, a heat sink for cooling water, a container, an adjusting member, and a cooling member for dissipating heat. The container includes an inlet and an outlet. The inlet is connected to the heat sink through one of the tubes for receiving the cooled water cooled by the heat sink. The adjusting member is connected to the outlet for adjusting flow of cooled water from the container. The cooling member includes a first end and a second end opposite to the first end. The first end of the cooling member is connected to the adjusting member, and the second end of the cooling member is connected to the heat sink by a corresponding one of the flexible tubes.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A water-cooling system comprising:
a plurality of flexible tubes; a heat sink for cooling water; a container comprising an inlet and an outlet, wherein the inlet is connected to the heat sink through one of the tubes, for receiving the cooled water cooled by the heat sink; an adjusting member connected to the outlet of the container, for adjusting flow of cooled water from the container; and a cooling member comprising a first end and a second end opposite to the first end, wherein the first end of the cooling member is connected to the adjusting member, the second end of the cooling member is connected to the heat sink by a corresponding one of the flexible tubes.
2 . The water-cooling system of claim 1 , wherein the adjusting member comprises a connection member and a valve rotatably received in the connection member, the connection member comprises a first and a second connectors respectively connected between the corresponding flexible tube and the outlet of the container, the valve defines two through holes, the valve is operable to rotate relate to the connection member to make the two through holes align with or offset from the first and second connectors.
3 . The water-cooling system of claim 2 , wherein the connection member defines a screw hole communicating with the first and second connectors, a fastening member is engaged with the screw hole to be mounted to the connection member, the fastening member defines a through hole, the valve comprises an operation portion extending through the through hole of the fastening member to be exposed out of the fastening member.
4 . The water-cooling system of claim 3 , wherein the fastening member comprises a fastening portion and a flange extending from the fastening portion, the fastening portion is engaged with the screw hole, and the flange resists against the connection member to cover the screw hole of the connection member, the through hole of the fastening member extends through the fastening portion and the flange.
5 . The water-cooling system of claim 4 , wherein the valve further comprises a hollow connection portion extending from the operation portion, the connection portion extends through the screw hole of the connection member to be rotatably received in the connection member, the through holes of the vale are defined in the connection portion.
6 . The water-cooling system of claim 5 , wherein a hollow closing member is fixedly fitted about the connection portion and rotatably received in the connection member.
7 . The water-cooling system of claim 6 , wherein the closing member defines two through holes aligning with the though holes of the valve, respectively.
8 . The water-cooling system of claim 6 , wherein the connection portion defines a plurality of latching holes, and a plurality of protrusions extends from an inner surface of a sidewall of the closing member to engage in the latching holes.
9 . The water-cooling system of claim 6 , wherein the closing member is made of plastic.
10 . A water flow adjusting member comprising:
a connection member comprising a first connector and a second connector communicating and aligning with the first connector, wherein one of the first and second connectors allows water to enter the connection member, and the other of the first and second connectors allows water to flow out of the connection member, the connection member defines an opening therein, communicating with the first and second connectors; and a valve comprising a connection portion rotatably received in the connection member and an operation portion extending from the connection portion and exposed out of the connection member through the opening, wherein the connection portion defines a through hole therein, the operation portion of the valve is operable to rotate, thereby making the through hole of the connection portion align with or offset from the first and second connectors.
11 . The water flow adjusting member of claim 10 , further comprising a hollow closing member rotatably received in the connection member, wherein the connection portion of the valve is fixedly received in the closing member, the closing member defines two opposite through holes in a sidewall of the closing member, the through holes of the closing member align with the through hole of the connection portion of the valve.
12 . The water flow adjusting member of claim 11 , wherein the connection portion of the valve defines a plurality of latching holes therein, and an inner surface of the sidewall of the closing member forms a plurality of protrusions to engage in the corresponding latching holes.
13 . The water flow adjusting member of claim 10 , further comprising a fastening member engaged in the opening of the connection member, wherein the fastening member comprises a flange resisting against the connection member to cover the opening, the operation portion of the valve extends through the flange.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
