Concealable Pouch

Abstract

A pouch includes a front and back panel and a strap. The back panel includes an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper portion has a trapezoidal shape and the lower portion has a substantially rectangular shape. The front panel has a substantially rectangular shape and being sized to match the lower portion of the back panel. The front panel includes a top edge, a bottom edge and two side edges. The front panel is attached to the lower portion of the back panel at the bottom and two side edges to form a compartment. The top edge defines an opening for access to the compartment. The elongate strap has a first end and a second end. The first end is attached to the upper portion of the back panel. The second end is configured to be attached to the first end to form a loop.

1 . A pouch comprising:
 a back panel including an upper portion and a lower portion, the upper portion having a trapezoidal shape and the lower portion having a substantially rectangular shape;   a front panel having a substantially rectangular shape and being sized to match the lower portion of the back panel, the front panel including a top edge, a bottom edge and two side edges, the front panel being attached to the lower portion of the back panel at the bottom and two side edges to form a compartment, the top edge defining an opening for access to the compartment; and   an elongate strap having a first end and a second end, the first end being attached to the upper portion of the back panel, the second end being configured to be attached to the first end to form a loop.   
     
     
         2 . The pouch as claimed in  claim 1 , further comprising a grip attached to the center of the top edge of the front panel, the grip being in-line with the strap. 
     
     
         3 . The pouch as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the front panel and the back panel are made of a slick nylon material. 
     
     
         4 . The pouch as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the elongate strap is made of webbing, the back panel having a top edge and slanted edges, the top edge being sized to accommodate the webbing and the slanted edges being angled from the webbing to the lower portion of the back panel. 
     
     
         5 . The pouch as claimed in  claim 1 , further comprising a fastener attached along the top edge of the front panel and in an opposing position on the back panel to secure the compartment, the strap being disposed above the top edge. 
     
     
         6 . The pouch as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the back panel and the strap are integrally formed, the back panel having a top edge and slanted edges, the top edge being sized to accommodate the strap and the slanted edges being angled from the strap to the lower portion of the back panel. 
     
     
         7 . A pouch comprising:
 a back panel including a top edge, two slanted edges, two side edges and a bottom edge;   a front panel including a top edge, a bottom edge and two side edges, the bottom edge of the front panel being secured to the bottom edge of the back panel and the two side edges of the front panel being secured to the two side edges of the back panel, respectively, the front and back panel defining a compartment with an opening at the top edge of the front panel; and   a strap including a first end and a second end, the first end being attached to the back panel and extending out from the center of the top edge of the back panel, the second end including a fastener to be attached to the first end creating a loop, a triangular portion being defined by the top edge of the front panel, the strap and one of the slanted edges.   
     
     
         8 . The pouch as claimed in  claim 7 , wherein the front panel and the back panel are made of slick nylon material. 
     
     
         9 . The pouch as claimed in  claim 7 , wherein the strap is made of webbing, the top edge of the back panel being sized to accommodate the webbing and the slanted edges being angled from the webbing to each of the side edges of the back panel. 
     
     
         10 . The pouch as claimed in  claim 7 , wherein each slanted edge forms an angle between the slanted edge and the top edge of the front panel that is about 30 to about 60 degrees. 
     
     
         11 . The pouch as claimed in  claim 10 , wherein the angle is about 45 degrees. 
     
     
         12 . The pouch as claimed in  claim 7 , wherein the strap is attached to the back panel at a point below the slanted edges, the strap forming a loop when in the closed position. 
     
     
         13 . The pouch as claimed in  claim 7 , wherein the back panel and the strap are formed integrally from a single piece of material. 
     
     
         14 . A pouch comprising:
 a back panel including a upper portion and a lower portion;   a front panel having a substantially rectangular shape including a top edge, a bottom edge and two side edges, the front panel being secured at its bottom edge and two side edges to the back panel to form a container body having a compartment that opens at the top edge of the front panel;   an elongate strap including a first end and a second end, the first end being attached to the upper portion of the back panel, the second end forming a loop when attached to the back panel, the loop being sized to fit around a connection point on the user's clothing and attach to the back panel; and   means for reducing the rotational movement of the pouch.   
     
     
         15 . The pouch as claimed in  claim 14 , further comprising means for removing the pouch from the connection point without removing the user's clothing. 
     
     
         16 . The pouch as claimed in  claim 14 , wherein the front panel and the back panel are made of slick nylon material. 
     
     
         17 . The pouch as claimed in  claim 14 , wherein the elongate strap is made of webbing nylon. 
     
     
         18 . The pouch as claimed in  claim 14 , wherein the back panel and the strap are formed integrally from a single planar piece of material.
