Abstract
A control method of a laundry machine is disclosed. The control method of a laundry machine having balancer includes determining at least one of a drum acceleration point and an acceleration inclination in a transient region passing step (S210) based on an unbalance amount.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A control method of a laundry machine having a balancer comprising:
determining at least one of a drum acceleration point and an acceleration inclination in a transient region passing step based on a unbalance amount.
2 . The control method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the unbalance sensing step is implemented before a rotation speed of the drum enters into a transient region of the laundry machine.
3 . The control method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the transient region passing step comprises:
a first unbalance sensing step configured to sense unbalance and determine whether the drum is accelerated or not; and a second unbalance sensing step configured to re-sense unbalance and at least one of a drum acceleration point and acceleration inclination is determined based on the unbalance amount sensed in the second unbalance sensing step.
4 . The control method as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the second unbalance sensing step is implemented before a rotation speed of the drum enters into a transient region of the laundry machine.
5 . The control method as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the second unbalance sensing step is implemented at a higher rpm than the first unbalance sensing step.
6 . The control method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the balancer is provided with a ball balancer, and when the sensed unbalance amount is a predetermined value or more, the drum acceleration point is determined for balls provided in the balancer to be located at unbalance corresponding positions for the rotation speed of the drum to pass the transient region.
7 . The control method as claimed in claim 6 , wherein the acceleration point is determined for the balls of the balancer to substantially have a phase difference of 90° or more with laundry in the transient region.
8 . The control method as claimed in claim 6 , wherein the acceleration point is determined for the balls of the balancer to substantially have a phase difference of 180° with laundry in an intermediate RPM of the transient region.
9 . The control method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein an acceleration inclination of the drum changes gradually when the sensed unbalance amount is less than a predetermined value.
10 . The control method as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the acceleration inclination of the drum comprises a first inclination and a second inclination which are difference from each other.
11 . The control method as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the second inclination has a smaller value than the first inclination and the rotation speed of the drum passes the transient region when the drum is accelerated according to the second inclination.
12 . The control method as claimed in claim 11 , wherein a distribution level of the balls provided in the balancer is higher when the drum is accelerated according to the first inclination than according to the second inclination.
13 . The control method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the laundry machine comprises a driving unit comprising a shaft connected to a drum, a bearing housing to rotatably support the shaft, and a motor to rotate the shaft, and a suspension assembly is connected to the driving unit.
14 . The control method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the laundry machine comprises a rear gasket for sealing to prevent washing water from leaking from a space between a driving unit and a tub, and enabling the driving unit movable relative to the tub.
15 . The control method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a tub is supported rigidly more than a drum being supported by a suspension assembly.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
