Abstract

An apparatus, a method, and a computer program implementing resource allocation for video playback are disclosed. First, information of a video sequence is obtained ( 902 ), and resource estimate for the video sequence is created ( 904 ) utilizing the obtained information. Next, resources are allocated ( 906 ) according to the resource estimate, and the video sequence is played ( 908 ) back with the allocated resources.

1 . An apparatus, comprising:
 a memory; and   a processor configured to execute instructions stored in the memory to:
 obtain information from a video sequence; 
 create a resource estimate for the video sequence utilizing the obtained information; 
 allocate at least one resource according to the resource estimate; and 
 playback the video sequence with the at least one resource.
