Cranberry seed oil, cranberry seed flour and a method for making

Abstract

The present invention includes a cranberry seed oil, a cranberry flour and a method for making cranberry seed oil and flour. The cranberry seed oil comprises beta sitosterol and phosphatidylcholine.

A neutraceutical comprising cranberry oil cold pressed from cranberry seeds at a temperature not exceeding about 100 degrees F. and free from solvent., the cranberry oil comprising: beta sitosterol and phosphatidylcholine , alpha tocopherol in a concentration of about 110 mg/kg of total oil weight, the nutraceutical further comprising one or more of a soy oil, blueberry oil, pumpkin seed oil, aloe, sunflower seed oil, safflower oil, rose oil, saw palmetto, St. John's wort, evening primrose, corn oil and flax oil. 
     
     
         24 . The neutraceutical of  claim 23  wherein the cranberry oil further comprises campesterol and stigmasterol. 
     
     
         25 . A pharmaceutical carrier comprising cranberry oil cold pressed from cranberry seeds , the cranberry oil comprising beta sitosterol and phosphatidylcholine, alpha tocopherol in a concentration of about 110 mg/kg of total oil weight, the pharmaceutical carrier further comprising one or more of an oil or a non-oil. 
     
     
         26 . The pharmaceutical of  claim 25 , wherein the cranberry oil further comprises compesterol and stigmasterol. 
     
     
         27 . A food comprising the neutraceutical of  claim 23 .

An oil comprising cranberry oil cold pressed from cranberry seeds and free from solvent, the cranberry oil comprising beta sitosterol and phosphatidylcholine, alpha-tocopherol in a concentration of about 341 mg/kg and gamma tocopherol in a concentration of about 110 mg/kg of total oil weight.
