Claims

Abstract

A headrest for a chair in the present invention has a supporting strip and an abutting surface immovably mounted on an upper end of the supporting strip. The supporting strip has a fastening element secured on a lower end. An adjustable connection between the supporting strip and the fastening element is performed. The fastening element is adapted to attach to a top of the backrest of the chair. The supporting strip is made of MC Nylon so that the headrest enables to move flexibility to any angle posture and to provide comforting efficiency.

1 . A headrest comprising a supporting strip and an abutting surface immovably mounted on an upper end of the supporting strip, wherein improvements of the headrest are:
 the supporting strip has a fastening element secured on a lower end and adapted to a top of a backrest;   an adjustable connection is performed between the supporting strip and the fastening element; and   the supporting strip is made of MC Nylon.   
     
     
         2 . The headrest as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the supporting portion has a bending portion at top and a straight portion at bottom;
 the straight portion of the supporting strip penetrates the fastening element.   
     
     
         3 . The headrest as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein the straight portion has a plurality of recesses arranged in line; and
 the fastening element has a spring with an abutting head inserting into a corresponding one of the plurality of recesses.   
     
     
         4 . The headrest as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein the straight portion has a plurality of through holes arranged in line; and
 the fastening element has a spring with an abutting head inserting into a corresponding one of the plurality of through holes.   
     
     
         5 . The headrest as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein the straight portion has a toothed positioning strip; and
 the fastening element has a locker engaging the toothed positioning strip.   
     
     
         6 . The headrest as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein the fastening element has a manual locking screw mounted on the straight portion. 
     
     
         7 . The headrest as claimed in  claim 3 , wherein the plurality of recesses are selectively with round, rectangular or oval. 
     
     
         8 . The headrest as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein a topmost and a bottommost of the straight portion each have a limiting block;
 the fastening element has a lower end and a locking strip mounted on the lower end.   
     
     
         9 . The headrest as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the fastening element is adapted to attach to the backrest selectively by screws, glue adhesive, welding or rivets. 
     
     
         10 . The headrest as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the abutting surface is a curved surface made of cloth, a flat surface made of cloth, a curved surface made of net texture, a flat surface made of net texture, a curved surface made of leather, or a flat surface made of leather.
