Abstract
A self-orienting tilting solar roof includes a roof ( 1 ) having a square, rectangular or polygonal shape, which can oscillate by the barycentre or central point of equilibrium ( 6 ) thereof under the action of forces applied at least three or more points ( 9 ) at a clear distance from one another and from the central bearing point ( 6 ), thereby preventing the roof from extending beyond the initial perimeter thereof in the horizontal position.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A self-orientating tilting solar roof comprising:
a roof designed in a square, rectangular or polygonal shape configured for oscillating on its a barycentre or central equilibrium point of the roof; and which is formed by two different roofs: a substantially pyramid shaped passive lower roof, having a ball joint at an apex on which there is supported and hinged an active upper solar roof pivoting on said ball joint and is self-positioning, such that water draining function is partially carried out between both roofs, whereas insulation of the building, if necessary, is carried out by the lower roof; oscillating means attached to the roof by at least three stress application points spaced from one another and from the central bearing point thereof such that a perimeter, initially established by geometry of a floor, is never exceeded during oscillating movement, comprising:
variable length attaching means for attaching to the stress application points on the lower part of the roof; a plurality of motors connected to the attaching means by pulleys through which the attaching means pass between the operating point of the force of the motor and the application point thereof under the roof, coordinated with one another by an automated computer switchboard.

3 . The roof according to the claim 1 , further comprising a system of stops or of additional securing configured to prevent the vibration of the roof with the wind.
4 . The roof according to claim 3 , wherein the system of stops or of additional securing is controlled by variable pitch motors to prevent sudden movements, as well as adjustment springs to control the tensions of the attachment means.

The roof according to claim 1 , further comprising a roof movement retaining system in a safety position of a plurality of rotating or telescopic sections anchoring the roof with a post-tensioning effect, obtained by a combination of tensile stresses of the attaching means in correlation with the compressive stresses of the sections between supports and stops.
6 . The roof according to the claim 1 , wherein the attaching means are selected from: cables, chains, ropes and belts.
7 . The roof according to the claim 1 , comprising manual operating means for operating the roof.
8 . The roof according to claim 1 , further comprising at least one central hydraulic jack under a support, configured for varying height of the ball joint for facilitating rotation of the roof when an angle greater than the angle achieved with that provided with initial support is required, and coordinated with one another by a hydraulic system provided with an automated computer switchboard.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
