Abstract

The present invention is to provide a rotary screen cleaner which includes a housing, a rotating element, a cloth supporting block and a cleaning cloth. The housing defines a receiving space therein and is formed with an opening on one side. The rotating element is pivotally provided in the housing and has one end outside the housing for being turned by a user. The cloth supporting block is made of an elastic material and is fixed in the receiving space, and has one end passing through the opening and extending out of the housing. The cleaning cloth is made of an elastic material and wrapped around the rotating shaft and the cloth supporting block. Thus, the user is able to use the cleaning cloth partially exposed outside the opening to clean a screen, without causing the screen to be scratched by the cleaner.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A rotary screen cleaner, comprising:
a housing defining a receiving space therein, the housing having a side formed with an opening; a rotating element comprising a rotating shaft and a turning wheel, the rotating shaft being pivotally provided in the housing and having an end connected to the turning wheel such that the turning wheel is located outside the housing; a cloth supporting block made of an elastic material, the cloth supporting block being fixed in the receiving space and having an end passing through the opening and extending out of the housing; and a cleaning cloth having an annular shape and wrapped around the rotating shaft and the cloth supporting block such that the cleaning cloth is partially exposed outside the opening.

2 . The rotary screen cleaner of claim 1 , wherein the housing is composed of a first housing member and a second housing member, the first housing member having a side concavely provided with a first receiving space, the first housing member further having a side which is adjacent to the first receiving space and formed with a first opening, the second housing member having a side concavely provided with a second receiving space, the second housing member further having a side corresponding in position to the first opening and formed with a second opening, wherein when the first housing member and the second housing member are connected to form the housing, the first receiving space and the second receiving space are connected to form the receiving space, and the first opening and the second opening are connected to form the opening of the housing.

3 . The rotary screen cleaner of claim 2 , wherein the first housing member further has a side which is adjacent to the first opening and formed with a first groove, and the second housing member is provided with a second groove corresponding in position to the first grove, the end of the rotating shaft passing through the first groove and the second groove and extending out of the housing to connect with the turning wheel.

4 . The rotary screen cleaner of claim 3 , wherein the housing is provided therein with at least a stopper adjacent to the opening, the cloth supporting block has two sides which are partially located in the housing, and the two sides of the cloth supporting block located in the housing are each protrudingly provided with an engaging block pressed against a corresponding said stopper, thereby securing the cloth supporting block in the receiving space.

5 . The rotary screen cleaner of claim 4 , wherein the rotating element has an opposite end provided with a supporting wheel, and the housing is provided therein with a pivot seat corresponding in position to the supporting wheel, the supporting wheel being pivotally provided at the pivot seat.

6 . The rotary screen cleaner of claim 5 , wherein the supporting wheel has a side provided with a ratchet wheel, and the pivot seat is provided therein with a claw corresponding in position to the ratchet wheel such that the ratchet wheel is rotatable in one direction only.

7 . The rotary screen cleaner of claim 6 , further comprising a pressing element, the pressing element having an end fixed to an inner side of the housing and an opposite end pressing against the cleaning cloth.

8 . The rotary screen cleaner of claim 7 , wherein the cloth supporting block is made of rubber.

9 . The rotary screen cleaner of claim 7 , wherein the cloth supporting block is made of silicone.
