Abstract
The “U-Rack” is a completely portable garment hanger with collapsible metal swing arm crossbar that support the garment, and telescoping sidebars that collapse down to a minimum height of 18 inches. This lightweight aluminum utility device can be packed away in a suitcase, the trunk of a car on in the back of the closet and readily extended for when a second closet is needed, for displaying items at a yard sale, fashion show or flea market event. A simple button release allows the “U-Rack” to be adjusted at the desired height and width to a maximum of 5″ in height by 4″ in length.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . Because the U-Rack has a low minimum height of 18 inches, it can be stored and transported easily. Variations ion height range from 24″ to 4″5″. Fully extended, the U-Rack has a maximum height of 5″
Weight
2 . The adjustable height, along with its light weight, makes it portable. It is designed to be sturdy in most terrain and weather conditions. Likewise, the retractable body offers stability on a variety of surfaces.
Materials
3 . The legs are made of aluminum, which has been anodized to protect them from deterioration. Silver and black finish has been applied to the exterior for camouflage. To allow a firm hold, the legs are wrapped with padded grips. These also shield the operator's hands from grabbing cold metal in freezing weather.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
