Abstract

The present invention generally relates to protectors for jewelry clasps. Specifically, this invention relates to a removable apparatus for easily, completely and non-intrusively covering a clasp to wearable jewelry such that protection of both the clasp and the wearer is provided.

1 . A Jewelry clasp protector, comprising:
 a hollow cylinder with thin exterior walls and interior walls forming an interior chamber therein and a slit running the entire length of the hollow cylinder,   wherein said interior chamber is configured to removably receive a jewelry clasp.   
     
     
         2 . The jewelry clasp protector of  claim 1 , wherein said exterior walls are wavy. 
     
     
         3 . The jewelry clasp protector of  claim 1 , wherein said exterior walls are rounded. 
     
     
         4 . The jewelry clasp protector of  claim 1 , wherein said exterior walls are tapered. 
     
     
         5 . The jewelry clasp protector of  claim 1 , wherein said interior walls are wavy. 
     
     
         6 . The jewelry clasp protector of  claim 1 , wherein said interior walls are rounded. 
     
     
         7 . The jewelry clasp protector of  claim 1 , wherein said interior walls are tapered. 
     
     
         8 . The jewelry clasp protector of  claim 1 , wherein said hollow cylinder is formed from a flexible material. 
     
     
         9 . The jewelry clasp protector of  claim 1 , wherein said hollow cylinder is formed from a rigid material. 
     
     
         10 . The jewelry clasp protector of  claim 1 , wherein said hollow cylinder is formed from a semi-flexible material. 
     
     
         11 . The jewelry clasp protector of  claim 1 , wherein said hollow cylinder is formed from a clear material. 
     
     
         12 . A Jewelry clasp protector, comprising:
 a hollow cylinder with thin exterior walls and interior walls forming an interior chamber therein and a slit running the entire length of the hollow cylinder,   wherein said interior chamber is configured to receive a jewelry clasp and be attached thereto.   
     
     
         13 . The jewelry clasp protector of  claim 12 , wherein said interior chamber is slidably attached to said jewelry clasp. 
     
     
         14 . The jewelry clasp protector of  claim 1 , wherein said interior walls are tapered. 
     
     
         15 . The jewelry clasp protector of  claim 1 , wherein said hollow cylinder is formed from a flexible material. 
     
     
         16 . The jewelry clasp protector of  claim 1 , wherein said hollow cylinder is formed from a rigid material. 
     
     
         17 . The jewelry clasp protector of  claim 1 , wherein said hollow cylinder is formed from a semi-flexible material. 
     
     
         18 . The jewelry clasp protector of  claim 1 , wherein said hollow cylinder is formed from a clear material.
