Shutter Repair System

Abstract

A system is provided for joining two discrete devices together, such as a louver panel and a tilt rod, where the system comprises a first and second component, each comprising a link connected to a resilient sheet, with each component being independently adhered to one of the two discrete devices for joining the two devices in engaged but moveable relationship.

1 . A system for joining two discrete devices together, the system comprising:
 a first component comprising a first link connected to a first resilient sheet, the first link comprising a sturdy material, and the first sheet comprising a sturdy material and further comprising a means for connecting the sheet to one of the two devices; and   a second component comprising a second link connected to a second resilient sheet, the second link comprising a sturdy material, and the second sheet comprising a sturdy material and further comprising a means for connecting the sheet to one of the two devices;   wherein the first and second links are configured to be engaged in a manner that permits the first component to be connected to the second component in a movably connected manner, and where the first and second components are configured so that the first component may be connected to the first device and the second component may be connected to the second device to join the first and second devices together but permit engaged movement relative to each other.   
     
     
         2 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the first and second links comprise generally U-shaped rods. 
     
     
         3 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the links are configured to detach from each other. 
     
     
         4 . The board system of  claim 2 , wherein the connecting means comprises adhesive.
