Dual layer blanket

Abstract

A dual portion blanket comprising: a first portion, where said first portion includes a double layer of blanketing; and a second portion, where said second portion includes a single layer of blanketing. In one particular embodiment, the first portion includes a side opening on each thereof.

1 . A dual portion blanket comprising:
 a. a first portion, where said first portion includes a double layer of blanketing and extends between the sides of the blanket; and   b. a second portion, where said second portion includes a single layer of blanketing, wherein the first portion adds additional warmth for exclusively at least one of a an upper torso of an user and lower limbs of the user.   
     
     
         2 . The dual portion blanket according to  claim 1 , where said first portion includes a side opening on each side thereof

         4 . A dual portion blanket comprising:
 a. a head portion where said head portion exclusively covers an user's upper torso during use of the blanket and said head portion includes a double layer of blanketing and extends between the sides of the blanket; and   b. a second portion, where said second portion includes a single layer of blanketing.   
     
     
         5 . The dual portion blanket according to  claim 4 , where said head portion includes a side opening on each side thereof 
     
     
         6 . The dual portion blanket according to  claim 5 , where each side opening provides a means for the insertion of a heating pad or ice pack. 
     
     
         7 . A dual portion blanket comprising:
 a. a foot portion where said foot portion exclusively covers an user's lower limbs during use of the blanket and said foot portion includes a double layer of blanketing and extends between the sides of the blanket; and   b. a second portion, where said second portion includes a single layer of blanketing.   
     
     
         8 . The dual portion blanket according to  claim 7 , where said foot portion includes a side opening on each side thereof 
     
     
         9 . The dual portion blanket according to  claim 8 , where each side opening provides a means for the insertion of a heating pad or ice pack.
