One-Piece Article of Clothing

Abstract

A one-piece article of clothing having a front part, a back part containing a seat region, a right- and left-hand side, a waist region, and at least one closing device is provided. The closing device(s) may be positioned laterally along the right- and left-hand sides of the garment such that the end portion of the closing device is positioned in the front part to permit the seat region to be opened. In at least one exemplary embodiment, the article contains two closing devices whereby end portions of the two closing devices are positioned in the front part and beginning portions of the two closing devices are positioned facing each other in the back part to enable the opening of the seat region. The article may also have at least one stretching zone and at least one elastic component. In one exemplary embodiment, the article is utilized as cycling bib pants.

1 . A one-piece garment for covering the upper and lower body parts of a wearer, said one-piece garment comprising:
 a front part and a back part having a seat region,   a right-hand garment side and a left-hand garment side, and   a waist region, and   at least one closing device having an end portion and a beginning portion,   wherein the at least one closing device is positioned laterally along the right-hand garment side and the left-hand garment side such that at least the end portion is positioned in the front part to allow opening of the seat region.   
     
     
         2 . The garment as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the at least one closing device comprises:
 a first closing device, positioned laterally around the left-hand garment side between the front part and the back part, and   a second closing device, arranged laterally around the right-hand garment side between the front part and the back part,   wherein end portions of the first closing device and the second closing device are positioned in the front part and beginning portions of the first closing device and the second closing device are positioned facing each other in the back part to allow opening of the seat region.   
     
     
         3 . The garment as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein the first closing device and the second closing device are located in the waist region. 
     
     
         4 . The garment as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the garment further comprises at least one elastic component and at least one stretching zone in the front part, in the back part, or in the front and back parts. 
     
     
         5 . The garment as claimed in  claim 4 , wherein the at least one stretching zone is positioned in the waist region. 
     
     
         6 . The garment as claimed in  claim 2 , further comprising at least one stretching zone positioned between the end portions of the first and second closing devices or between the beginning portions of the first and second closing devices to form a stretchable region between the end portions of the first and second closing devices or the beginning portions of the first and second closing devices. 
     
     
         7 . The garment as claimed in  claim 4 , wherein the at least one stretching zone comprises an opening in the at least one elastic component. 
     
     
         8 . The garment as claimed in  claim 4 , wherein the at least one stretching zone comprises a stretchable component. 
     
     
         9 . The garment as claimed in  claim 4 , wherein said at least one stretching zone comprises a first stretching zone in the front part and a second stretching zone in the back part. 
     
     
         10 . The garment as claimed in  claim 9 , wherein the first stretching zone comprises a first opening in the front part. 
     
     
         11 . The garment as claimed in  claim 9 , wherein the second stretching zone comprises a second opening in the back part. 
     
     
         12 . The garment as claimed in  claim 9 , wherein the first closing device is positioned between the first stretching zone and the second stretching zone and wherein the second closing device is positioned between the first stretching zone and the second stretching zone. 
     
     
         13 . The garment as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein the first and second closing devices are continuous and contain a zip fastener with teeth or a zip fastener with sealing lips. 
     
     
         14 . The garment as claimed in  claim 13 , wherein the first closing device comprises a first zip fastener and the second closing device comprises a second zip fastener, the first and second zip fasteners being positioned in the waist region. 
     
     
         15 . The garment as claimed in  claim 9 , wherein end portions of the first and second zip fasteners are positioned in the first stretching zone and wherein the beginning portions of the first and second zip fasteners are positioned in the second stretching zone. 
     
     
         16 . The garment as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the end portion and the beginning portion are positioned in the front part. 
     
     
         17 . The garment as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the at least one closing device is positioned in the waist region. 
     
     
         18 . The garment as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the at least one closing device comprises a zip fastener. 
     
     
         19 . The garment as claimed in  claim 1 , further comprising at least one elastic component and at least one stretching zone. 
     
     
         20 . The garment as claimed in  claim 19 , wherein the at least one stretching zone comprises an opening in the at least one elastic component. 
     
     
         21 . The garment as claimed in  claim 19 , wherein the at least one stretching zone is positioned between the end portion and the beginning portion of the at least one closing device. 
     
     
         22 . The garment as claimed in  claim 21 , wherein said garment is a pair of cycling bib pants.
