Abstract

Systems, and programming for improved arrangement and administration of syndicated loans using computer networks. Each of a plurality of bookrunners is authorized to invite any number of other bookrunners, as well as any number of loan participants, or underwriters (i.e. investors or lenders), to participate in offering and administering a loan, typically by providing various forms of information describing the proposed loan, including the borrower, the proposed terms, and possibly any potential participants in making the loan. Invitees who accept such invitations may be associated with the inviting bookrunner, and upon being accepted as participants may be granted by the bookrunner access to various sets of communications, documents, and other information concerning the proposed loan.

         17 . A computer-usable medium or media useful for processing data pertaining to a syndicated loan offering to be administered by a plurality of bookrunners, the medium comprising computer-readable code embodied therein for causing a computer to:
 associate with data received by the computer data identifying the received data as associated with a syndicated loan offering and as associated with one of a plurality of bookrunners administering the syndicated loan offering;   store the received data in persistent computer-readable memory, and, subject to verification of authority, allow access to the stored data by at least one of:   the bookrunner with whom the stored data has been associated, and a participant authorized on behalf of the bookrunner to access the data.

         27 . A computer-usable medium or media useful for processing data pertaining to a syndicated loan offering to be administered by a plurality of bookrunners, the medium comprising computer-readable code embodied therein for causing a computer to:
 with respect to each of a plurality of proposed or existing loan administrations:   subject to verification of an authorization, allow access to a plurality of bookrunner data sets by a plurality of loan participants, each of the loan participants being associated a respective one of a plurality of bookrunners and each of the plurality of bookrunner datasets associated with a syndicated loan offering administered by the plurality of bookrunners;   subject to verification of the same or another authorization, allow access by a plurality of loan participants associated with a plurality of the bookrunners to a deal data set associated with the syndicated loan, the deal data set accessible by all participants participating in the syndicated loan offering; and   allow access by each of the participants and each of the bookrunners associated with each of the plurality of proposed or existing loan administrations to a pooled contact data set, the pooled contact data set comprising data useful for communicating with at least one of a plurality of contacts including anyone or more of confirmed or potential loan bookrunners, arrangers, underwriters, participants, or invitees.

         31 . A computer-usable medium or media useful for processing data pertaining to a syndicated loan offering to be administered by a plurality of bookrunners, the medium comprising computer-readable code embodied therein for causing a computer to:
 display, in human-readable form, information pertaining to at least one syndicated loan offering to be administered by a plurality of bookrunners, the information comprising at least one identifier of at least one type of input data solicited from a user of the computer, and at least one input item adapted to facilitate input by the user of data corresponding to the at least one type of solicited input data; wherein   the at least one type of input data solicited from the user comprises data useful for communicating with at least one of a bookrunner, an arranger, an underwriter, a borrower, a participant, an invitee, and a loan service provider; and   upon entry of an execution command by the user, to read data input by the user corresponding to the at least one type of solicited input data; and store the read input data in memory accessible by a plurality of users associated with the at least one syndicated loan offering.   
     
     
         32 . The medium or media of  claim 31 , wherein the at least one input item adapted to facilitate input by the user of data corresponding to the at least one type of solicited input data comprises overridable default data.

The medium or media of  claim 32 , wherein the overridable default data comprises at least one of a name, a business affiliation, a physical address, an email address, and a telephone number associated with the at least one bookrunner, arranger, underwriter, borrower participant, invitee, or.

The medium or media of  claim 31 , comprising computer-readable code embodied therein for causing a computer, upon reading data input by the user corresponding to a city associated with the at least one bookrunner, arranger, underwriter, borrower, participant, invitee, or loan service provider, to display at least one input item adapted to facilitate input by the user of data corresponding to the at least one type of solicited input data, the input item comprising overridable default data, the overridable default data based on the city.

The medium or media of  claim 31 , comprising computer-readable code embodied therein for causing a computer, upon reading data input by the user corresponding to a business entity associated with the at least one bookrunner, arranger, underwriter, borrower, participant, invitee, or loan service provider, to display at least one input item adapted to facilitate input by the user of data corresponding to the at least one type of solicited input data, the input item comprising overridable default data, the overridable default data based on the business entity.
