Claims

Abstract

A burner of a gas device includes a first plate, a second plate engaged with the first plate, and a chamber formed by the first and second plates. The chamber includes first and second distal ends disposed at two opposite ends, and first and second lateral sides disposed at two opposite sides. The chamber further includes a gas inlet hole and an air inlet hole, which are disposed at the first distal end. Furthermore, the chamber includes a first channel connecting with the gas inlet hole and the air inlet hole and includes a first compartment connecting with the first channel. Moreover, the chamber includes a first plurality of flame exit pores and a second plurality of flame exit pores disposed at the first and second lateral sides respectively. The first and second plurality of flame exit pores connect with the first compartment.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A burner of a gas device comprising:
 a first plate;   a second plate engaged with and disposed opposite to the first plate;   a chamber formed by the first and second plates and partially delimited in the first plate and partially delimited in the second plate, with the chamber including a first distal end, a second distal end, a first lateral side, and a second lateral side, with the first and second ends disposed at two opposite ends of the chamber, with the first and second lateral sides disposed at two opposite sides of the chamber, with the chamber including a gas inlet hole for allowing gas to enter into the chamber, which is disposed at the first distal end, with the chamber including an air inlet hole for allowing air to enter into the chamber, which is disposed at the first distal end, with the chamber including a first channel defined therein and connecting with the gas inlet hole and the air inlet hole, and a first compartment connecting with the first channel, with the chamber including a first plurality of flame exit pores and a second plurality of flame exit pores disposed at the first and second lateral sides respectively, and with the first and second plurality of flame exit pores connecting with the first compartment.   
     
     
         2 . The burner as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the chamber includes projections disposed therein that direct a mixture of gas and air in a manner that causes gas and air to mix together thoroughly, with each of the projections including a first portion extending from the first plate and a second portion extending from the second plate. 
     
     
         3 . The burner as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein the chamber includes the first channel and first compartment in which the mixture of gas and air is guided and travel, with the mixture of gas and air guided and entering the first compartment through the first channel, with the first channel including a first end defined adjacent to the first distal end and a second end defined adjacent to an entry of the first compartment, with the first compartment including a first section and one of two second sections disposed along the first plurality flame exit pores and the other second section disposed along the second plurality flame exit pores, with the projections including a wall disposed between the first channel and the one of the two second sections of the first compartment and preventing the mixture of gas and air flowing directly from the first channel to the one of the two second sections of the first compartment, with the projections including a wall disposed between the first channel and the other second section of the first compartment and preventing the mixture of gas and air flowing directly from the first channel to the other second section of the first compartment. 
     
     
         4 . The burner as claimed in  claim 3 , wherein the first channel includes an increased width and a first width at the first end and a second width at the second end, with the first width smaller than the second width. 
     
     
         5 . The burner as claimed in  claim 3 , wherein the projections in the chamber include a blocking portion disposed in the first compartment and causing gas and air to mix together thoroughly in the first compartment and facilitating the mixture of gas and air to flow into the two second sections. 
     
     
         6 . The burner as claimed in  claim 3 , wherein each of the two second sections of the first compartment includes a reduced width and includes a narrower width end and a wider width end, with the narrower width end disposed adjacent to the first distal end of the chamber, with the wider width end disposed adjacent to the first section of the first compartment. 
     
     
         7 . The burner as claimed in  claim 3 , wherein the chamber includes a second channel, and second and third compartments in which the mixture of gas and air is guided and travel, with the second channel, the second compartment and the third compartment disposed one after the other and connecting with each other, with the mixture of gas and air guided and entering the second channel, the second compartment, and the third compartment successively, with the second channel disposed adjacent to and connecting with the first compartment, with the mixture of gas and air speeded up after passing the second channel, with the second channel including a passage, two first path portions and two second path portions, with the passage disposed between the two first path sections, with a relatively small amount of the mixture of gas and air flowing pass the passage, with the projections including a wall disposed between the passage and each first path section and preventing the mixture of gas and air in the passage from flowing laterally to each first path section, with the two first path sections disposed between the two second path sections, with one of the two second path sections disposed along the first plurality of flame exit pores, with the other second path section disposed along the second plurality of flame exit pores, with one of the two first path sections laterally connecting with one of the two second path sections, with the other first path section laterally connecting with the other second path section, with each first path section having a first depth and each second path section having a second depth, with the first depth different than the second depth. 
     
     
         8 . The burner as claimed in  claim 7 , wherein the first depth is smaller than the second depth. 
     
     
         9 . The burner as claimed in  claim 7 , wherein the projections in the chamber include an obstruction disposed on each first path section and diverting the mixture of gas and air. 
     
     
         10 . The burner as claimed in  claim 7 , wherein the projections in the chamber include two guiding walls disposed between the first section of the first compartment and an entry of the second channel, with the two guiding walls extending convergently towards each other in a horizontal plane. 
     
     
         11 . The burner as claimed in  claim 7 , wherein the second compartment is delimited by two walls of the projections, with the two walls extending divergently away from each other in a horizontal plane. 
     
     
         12 . The burner as claimed in  claim 7 , wherein the projections in the chamber include a wall disposed in the third compartment and having a configuration that causes the third compartment to form a looped conduit for the mixture of gas and air, with the wall disposed in the third compartment including a front distal end disposed adjacent to the second compartment and a rear distal end disposed adjacent to the second distal end of the burner, with the front distal end defining a guiding end, with the looped conduit including two lateral conduits and a transverse conduit, with the guiding end diverting the mixture of gas and air into the two lateral conduits, with the two lateral conduits separated by the wall defined in the third compartment and one of the two lateral conduit disposed along the first plurality of flame exit pores and the other lateral conduit disposed along the second plurality of flame exit pores, with the wall defined in the third compartment preventing the mixture of gas and air in one of the two lateral conduits from flowing laterally to the other lateral conduit, with the transverse conduit disposed adjacent to the between the rear distal end of the wall defined in the third compartment and the second distal end of the burner and interconnecting the two lateral conduits. 
     
     
         13 . The burner as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the gas inlet hole includes a circumferential edge partially delimited in the first plate and partially delimited in the second plate. 
     
     
         14 . The burner as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the air inlet hole is defined in one of the first and second plates and extends therethrough. 
     
     
         15 . The burner as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the gas inlet hole and the air inlet hole are oriented in different directions. 
     
     
         16 . The burner as claimed in  claim 15 , wherein the gas inlet hole has a first orientation and the air inlet hole has a second orientation perpendicular to the first orientation. 
     
     
         17 . The burner as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein each of the first and second pluralities of flame exit pores includes a peripheral wall partially delimited in the first plate and partially delimited in the second plate and forms an opening that allows a flame produced by combustion of the mixture of gas and air in the chamber to exit from the burner, with the openings of the first pluralities of flame exit pores collectively form a first corrugated configuration and a first planar configuration, with the first corrugated configuration formed on one of the first and second plates, with the openings of the second pluralities of flame exit pores collectively form a second corrugated configuration and a second planar configuration, with the second corrugated configuration formed on one of the first and second plates. 
     
     
         18 . The burner as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the first and second plates are of substantially the same cross-sectional size. 
     
     
         19 . The burner as claimed in  claim 12 , wherein each lateral conduit includes a reduced width and has a greater width end disposed adjacent to the second compartment and a smaller width end disposed adjacent to the transverse conduit.
