Abstract
The invention relates to a packaging unit of an insulating material, and, in particular, of high-temperature wool, preferably formed from a mineral fibrous raw material, and of a wrapper ( 6 ) made of a foil ( 6 ) or the like. To create a packaging unit ( 1 ), for which significantly less space is needed for transport and storage without destroying the inner fiber structure, thereby incurring enormous cost savings, particularly transport costs, an elongated insulating material ( 2 ) is rolled up into a bale ( 3 ) having straight long sections ( 4 ) and round short sections ( 5 ).
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A packaging unit comprising an insulating material, especially of a high-temperature wool, the wool being preferably of a mineral fibrous raw material, and a wrapper comprising a film or the like; wherein the elongated insulating material ( 2 ) is rolled up into a bale ( 3 ), said bale ( 3 ) comprising straight long sections ( 4 ) and round short sections ( 5 ).
2 . The packaging unit of claim 1 , wherein for the purpose of rolling up of said insulating material ( 2 ) into said bale ( 3 ), a roll-up template ( 7 ) is inserted into said bale ( 3 ) and is disposed on said first straight long section ( 4 a ).
3 . The packaging unit of claim 1 , wherein the packaging unit ( 1 ) is compressed after being rolled up such that a smaller, approximately rectangular cross-section of the packaging unit ( 1 ) is formed, wherein after the compression, the opening of the wrapper ( 6 ), which is formed from foil into the form of a sack, is sealed.
4 . The packaging unit of claim 3 , wherein the compression of the packaging unit ( 1 ) is performed by a mechanical device.
5 . The packaging unit of claim 3 , wherein the compression of the packaging unit ( 1 ) is performed by creating a vacuum.
6 . The packaging unit of claim 2 , wherein the packaging unit ( 1 ) is compressed after being rolled up such that a smaller, approximately rectangular cross-section of the packaging unit ( 1 ) is formed, wherein after the compression, the opening of the wrapper ( 6 ), which is formed from foil into the form of a sack, is sealed.
7 . The packaging unit of claim 6 , wherein the compression of the packaging unit ( 1 ) is performed by a mechanical device.
8 . The packaging unit of claim 6 , wherein the compression of the packaging unit ( 1 ) is performed by creating a vacuum.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
