System and method for graphical creation, editing and presentation of scenarios
Abstract
The present invention discloses a system and a method for creating, editing, reusing and presenting of scenarios. The scenario may comprise events, where each event may comprise instance and/or class components. The system may comprise a processor and a GUI that is object oriented. The GUI may allow a user to graphically edit, create and define operations upon scenarios, events and events' components; and static and dynamic presentations of the scenario, the events that are associated with the scenario and the events' components. The processor may enable translating the graphical operations into programming code to be executed by a computer. The system may enable a multiplicity of users to reuse and customize template scenarios where upon downloading a template scenario the system may replace all the instance components with their associated class components.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A system for designing, executing, reusing customizing, and sharing scenarios by defining events, wherein each event comprises at least one component and each component is associated with at least one class, the system comprising:
a. a server for holding and processing at least one database that comprises:
users' information, service providers' information, participants' information and class components, instance components, scenarios, and scenarios' related information, wherein
each class component defines a generic instance component type, and
each instance component is associated with at least one class component;
b. at least a first user's terminal be used by a first user; and c. a second user's terminal, to be used by a second user, wherein said terminals are capable of communicating with said server, and wherein each of said terminals comprise:
a GUI that allows at least one user to design at least one scenario by defining in each of said at least one scenario at least one event, selecting at least one of: class components and instance components for each event; and
a processor for
running simulation of said scenario;
executing said scenario;
wherein the system is capable of identifying at least one correlation between two events, and notifying participants about said identified correlation.
2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein said system further enables multiple users to perform at least one of:
sharing scenarios, sharing information, identifying and sharing common interest, and interacting during design and execution of the scenarios.
3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein said system is further capable of enabling the user to operate in both instance and class level.
4 . The system of claim 3 , wherein said system is further capable of enabling transition between said instance and class levels.
5 . The system of claim 3 , wherein
a user is capable of selecting a class; said system is further capable of presenting to said user a list of relevant instances associated with said selected class; and said user is capable of selecting an instance from said presented list.
6 . The system of claim 3 , wherein
a user is capable of selecting an instance; said system is further capable of presenting to said user a list of relevant classes associated with said selected instance; and said user is capable of selecting a class from said presented list.
7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein said system is further capable of enabling communication between users and selected service providers for achieving commercial agreement.
8 . The system of claim 1 , wherein said system is further capable of
enabling registration of service providers; and enabling said registered provider to advertise and promote their services by presenting to prospective users scenarios involving their services.
9 . The system of claim 8 , wherein said registration of service providers comprises payment of a fee by said registered service provider.
10 . The system of claim 1 , wherein said system is further capable of enabling users to exchange lists and information regarding service providers.
11 . The system of claim 10 , wherein said exchanging information regarding service providers comprises exchanging scores of said service providers.
12 . The system of claim 10 , wherein said exchanging information among said users is performed using a forum-like web application.
13 . The system of claim 1 , wherein said running simulation of a scenario presents to the user a movie-like presentation of said simulated scenario.
14 . The system of claim 13 , wherein said running simulation of a scenario enables identifying possible difficulties in executing said simulated scenario.
15 . The system of claim 14 , wherein said running simulation of a scenario enables the user to play, pause and rewind said simulated scenario.
16 . The system of claim 15 , wherein said running simulation of a scenario enables the user to edit an event in said paused simulated scenario.
17 . The system of claim 1 , wherein said execution of a scenario enables the user to perform real-time updating of events.
18 . The system of claim 17 , wherein said execution of a scenario enables the system to automatically identify changes in availability of resources needed for the execution of said scenario, and accordingly, as a result to reschedule at least one event
19 . The system of claim 1 , wherein said execution of a scenario enables communication among users and participants.
20 . The system of claim 1 , wherein said system allows creation of libraries of scenarios to be shared by participants.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
