Moving picture decoding method, moving picture decoding program, moving picture decoding apparatus, moving picture encoding method, moving picture encoding program, and moving picture encoding apparatus
Abstract
A moving picture decoding method of an embodiment according to the present invention is a moving picture decoding method for decoding encoded data of an interlaced scanned picture including Top field and Bottom field, and the method includes a stereo information acquisition step for acquiring stereo information indicating whether Top field and Bottom field are two pictures forming a stereo picture from the encoded data, a decoding step for decoding two fields corresponding to each other from the encoded data and generating two decoded fields, and an output step for outputting the two decoded fields. In the output step, the stereo information is referred to and the two decoded fields are outputted simultaneously.

2 . A method of decoding moving picture data, the method comprising computer executable steps performed by a processor of a decoder to implement:
receiving moving picture data comprising a coded video sequence and information flags which indicate that the received video sequence comprises a stereo-view content; determining , with one of the information flags, whether the received stereo-view content comprises stereo-view field pairs or stereo-view frame pairs; and delaying a display time of a first picture in a respective stereo-view pair, which is determined either a stereo-view field pair or a stereo-view frame pair, to coincide with a display time of a second picture in the same pair in order to present the respective first and second picture pair in stereo-view.
3 . The method according to claim 2 , wherein the received stereo-view content is determined to comprise stereo-view pairs of fields, and the method further comprises determining, with another flag of the information flags, whether first and second fields in a respective stereo-view pair represent right and left views of the stereo-view pair respectively or vise versa.
4 . The method according to claim 2 , wherein the received stereo-view content is determined to comprise stereo-view pairs of frames, and the method further comprises identifying, with another flag of the information flags, a respective first and second frame pair in the video sequence.
5 . The method according to claim 2 , wherein the received stereo-view content is determined to comprise stereo-view pairs of frames, and the method further comprises determining, with another flag of the information flags, whether first and second frames in a respective stereo-view pair represent right and left views of the stereo-view pair respectively or vise versa.
6 . A decoder for decoding moving picture data, comprising a processor of a video decoder and a memory that stores program executed by the processor to:
receive moving picture data comprising a coded video sequence and information flags which indicate that the received video sequence comprises a stereo-view content; determine, with one of the information flags, whether the received stereo-view content comprises stereo-view field pairs or stereo-view frame pairs; and delay a display time of a first picture in a respective stereo-view pair, which is determined either a stereo-view field pair or a stereo-view frame pair, to coincide with a display time of a second picture in the same pair in order to present the respective first and second picture pair in stereo-view.
7 . The decoder according to claim 6 , wherein the received stereo-view content is determined to comprise stereo-view pairs of fields, and the processor determines, with another of the information flags, whether first and second fields in a respective stereo-view pair represent right and left views of the stereo-view pair respectively or vise versa.
8 . The decoder according to claim 6 , wherein the received stereo-view content is determined to comprise stereo-view pairs of frames, and the processor identifies, with another of the information flags, a respective first and second frame pair in the video sequence.
9 . The decoder according to claim 6 , wherein the received stereo-view content is determined to comprise stereo-view pairs of frames, and the processor determines, with another of the information flags, whether first and second frames in a respective stereo-view pair represent right and left views of the stereo-view pair respectively or vise versa.
10 . A non-transitory computer readable medium comprising computer readable instructions performed by a processor of a video decoder for decoding moving picture data to:
receive moving picture data comprising a coded video sequence and information flags which indicate that the received video sequence comprises a stereo-view content; determine, with one of the information flags, whether the received stereo-view content comprises stereo-view field pairs or stereo-view frame pairs; and delay a display time of a first picture in a respective stereo-view pair, which is determined either a stereo-view field pair or a stereo-view frame pair, to coincide with a display time of a second picture in the same pair in order to present the respective first and second picture pair in stereo-view.
11 . The computer readable medium according to claim 10 , wherein the received stereo-view content is determined to comprise stereo-view pairs of fields, and the computer readable medium further comprises instructions performed by the processor to determine, with another of the information flags, whether first and second fields in a respective stereo-view pair represent right and left views of the stereo-view pair respectively or vise versa.
12 . The computer readable medium according to claim 10 , wherein the received stereo-view content is determined to comprise stereo-view pairs of frames, and the computer readable medium further comprises instructions performed by the processor to identify, with another of the information flags, a respective first and second frame pair in the video sequence.
13 . The computer readable medium according to claim 10 , wherein the received stereo-view content is determined to comprise stereo-view pairs of frames, and the computer readable medium further comprises instructions performed by the processor to determine, with another of the information flags, whether first and second frames in a respective stereo-view pair represent right and left views of the stereo-view pair respectively or vise versa.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
