Abstract
An infant pacifier assembly including an infant pacifier and an attachment device that is attached to the pacifier. The attachment device has a clip that enables it to be readily affixed to the clothing of an infant so as to secure the pacifier and retain in a convenient location and prevent the pacifier from dropping to the floor. The attachment device has an outer surface for attaching an object thereto, such as a decorative button, preferable by a hook and loop securing system. The decorative button had a decorative design and there may be a plurality of buttons having different decorative designs that the caregiver can select and affix to the attachment device as desired.

An infant use device assembly comprising an infant use device having an attachment device affixed thereto, the attachment device comprising a clip that is adapted to be fastened to the clothing of an infant, the attachment device having an exterior surface, an object removably secured to the exterior surface.

7 . The infant use device assembly of claim 1 wherein the object is securable to the exterior surface of the attachment device by means of snaps.
8 . The infant use device assembly of claim 1 wherein the infant use device system includes a plural of decorative objects having different designs thereon.
9 . The infant use device assembly of claim 8 wherein the decorative objects are decorative buttons.
10 . The infant use device assembly of claim 1 wherein the attachment device is affixed to the infant pacifier by means of a detachable ribbon.
11 . The infant use device assembly of claim 1 wherein one side of the decorative object has a decorative design and the other side has a hook system of a hook and loop securing system.
12 . A method of changing an object removably secured to a pacifier attachment device comprising the steps:
providing a pacifier secured to a pacifier attachment device, the pacifier attachment having a clip for affixing the attachment device to the clothing of an infant and having an exterior surface, providing a plurality of objects, securing one of a plurality of objects to the exterior surface of the attachment device.
13 . The method of claim 12 wherein the step of providing a plurality of objects comprises providing a plurality of decorative buttons.
14 . The method of claim 12 wherein the step of providing a plurality of objects comprises providing a plurality of objects having a surface with one component of a hook and loop securing system.
15 . The method of claim 14 wherein the step of providing a pacifier secured to a pacifier attachment device comprises providing a pacifier attachment device having one surface thereof comprising a component of a hook and loop securing system.
16 . The method of claim 15 wherein the step of securing comprises making physical contact between the respective hook and loop components.
17 . The method of claim 9 wherein the step of providing a pacifier secured to a pacifier attachment device comprises providing a pacifier attachment device having a magnetic component proximate an outer surface.

An attachment device adapted to be affixed to an object usable by-an infant comprising for an infant pacifier wherein the attachment device is adapted to be attached to the infant pacifier comprising a clip that is adapted to be fastened to the clothing of an infant, the attachment device having an exterior surface and an object removably secured to the exterior surface
19 . The attachment device of claim 18 wherein the object is removably affixed to the attachment device by means of a hook and loop attachment system.
