Waistpack having quick access/deposit hydration bottle

Abstract

Apparatus transportable by an exercising person, for maintaining a liquid drink within one-handed reach while the person is exercising, includes a container for the liquid drink, an adjustable belt for fitting about the person's waist, a holster connected to the belt, for releasably retaining therewithin the container, and a cradling web extending between the holster and the belt, connected thereto at respective web extremities but being arcuately spaced therefrom along a middle portion of the web.

1 . Apparatus for maintaining a container within reach of a person wearing the apparatus, comprising:
 a. an adjustable belt for fitting about the person's waist;   b. a holster connected to the belt, for releasably retaining therewithin the container;   c. an integrally continuous cradling web extending in an arc-like manner between the holster and the belt, being connected thereto at respective web extremities but being arcuately spaced therefrom along a middle portion of the web, the cradling web being stiffer than the holster and the belt.   
     
     
         2 . Apparatus of  claim 1  in which the web end connected to the holster being parallel with a lip of the holster and connected thereto at a position outboard of and remote from the belt. 
     
     
         3 . Apparatus of  claim 1  in which the web end connected to the belt is transverse to the belt centerline. 
     
     
         4 . Apparatus of  claim 1  wherein the cradling web being stiffer than the holster causes the flexing of the holster when the belt is wrapped around the person's waist. 
     
     
         5 . Apparatus of  claim 1  wherein the holster has a substantially closed bottom. 
     
     
         6 . Apparatus for maintaining a beverage container within reach of a person wearing the apparatus, comprising:
 a. a belt wearable about the torso of the person;   b. a horizontally elongated flexible fabric segment connected to the belt   c. a holster connected to the flexible fabric, for releasably retaining therewithin the container; and   d. a web extending around the holster and being connected to the flexible fabric segment of the belt at respective web extremities,
 i. a first web extremity being connected to the flexible fabric segment of the belt being transverse to the belt centerline, and 
 ii. a second web extremity being connected to the flexible fabric segment at a location below a proximate belt segment. 
   
     
     
         7 . Apparatus of  claim 6  wherein the belt comprises a pair of belt segments, including male and female members of a releasable clasp at respective ends of said segments for selectably connecting respective segments.
 a. said belt segments and the fabric segment defining the belt and facilitating adjustably close fitting of the belt about the torso of the person when the belt segments are connected by the clasp. 
 
     
     
         8 . Apparatus of  claim 7  wherein the horizontally elongated flexible fabric segment is positioned between and connected proximate to horizontal extremities of the ends of the respective belt segments remote from the clasp. 
     
     
         9 . Apparatus of  claim 8  wherein said belt segments and the fabric segment defining the belt and facilitating adjustably close fitting of the belt about the torso of the person when the belt segments are connected by the clasp. 
     
     
         10 . Apparatus of  claim 6  wherein the flexible fabric segment has multiple fabric layers overlying one another defining a lateral portion of a tapered open mouth holster, connected by the fabric segment to the belt. 
     
     
         11 . Apparatus of  claim 6  wherein the holster is oriented at an angle to the vertical of at least forty-five degrees and substantially opposite from the clasp when the belt is worn. 
     
     
         12 . Apparatus of  claim 6  wherein the holster has diameter falling within a preselected range, and retains the container with force preventing the container from exiting the holster in response to movement of the holster as the person traverses over ground but permitting the container to be withdrawn from the holster and thereafter replaced back into the holster by the person using one hand, for holster retention of the container, while the person is traversing over ground.
