Authority transfer system, authority transfer method, information processing apparatus, and recording medium

Abstract

To prevent a transfer of an authority from being useless as much as possible, an authority transfer unit includes a decision unit for making a decision that an authority of a user with respect to a management unit is transferred to a processing request unit.

1 . An authority transfer system comprising:
 a processing request unit including a generation unit configured to, in response to a request of processing from a user apparatus operated by a user, generate a request containing processing information indicating contents of the processing;   an authority transfer unit including a transmission unit configured to receive the request generated by the generation unit and transmit the request containing the processing information to a management unit based on the request;   the management unit including a determination unit configured to receive the request transmitted by the transmission unit and determine whether or not the processing is executable by the management unit based on the processing information contained in the request; and   wherein the authority transfer unit includes a decision unit configured to, in a case where the determination unit determines that the processing is executable, decide that an authority of the user with respect to the management unit is to be transferred to the processing request unit.   
     
     
         2 . The authority transfer system according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the generation unit generates a request, as processing information indicating contents of the processing, containing type information indicating a type of the processing and target object information indicating a target object of the processing;   wherein the transmission unit receives the request generated by the generation unit and transmits the request containing the type information and the target object information to the management unit based on the request;   wherein, in a case where the determination unit receives the request transmitted by the transmission unit and determines that the processing is executable by the management unit based on the type information contained in the request, the determination unit further determines whether or not the target object of the processing of the target object information contained in the request can be handled; and   wherein, in a case where the determination unit determines that the target object of the processing can be handled, the decision unit decides that the authority of the user with respect to the management unit is to be transferred to the processing request unit.   
     
     
         3 . The authority transfer system according to  claim 2 ,
 wherein, in a case where the target object of the processing is document information and a type of the processing is a registration of the document information, if the determination unit determines that the document information can be registered, the management unit further includes a creating unit configured to create determination information containing information indicating a result that the determination unit determines the document information can be registered and presence or absence information indicating presence or absence of the image forming apparatus capable of handling the document information among the image forming apparatus managed by the management unit; and   wherein, in a case where the decision unit receives the determination information created by the creating unit and generates information of a confirmation screen for indicating presence or absence information contained in the determination information and for confirming to the user whether to transfer an authority of the user with respect to the management unit to the processing request unit, and further in a case where a result of the confirmation of the user received via the confirmation screen permits the transfer of the authority of the user with respect to the management unit to the processing request unit, the decision unit decides that the authority of the user with respect to the management unit is to be transferred to the processing request unit.   
     
     
         4 . The authority transfer system according to  claim 3 , wherein, in a case where there exists an image forming apparatus capable of handling the document information among image forming apparatuses managed by the management unit, the creating unit creates determination information containing information that can identify the image forming apparatus as the presence or absence information. 
     
     
         5 . The authority transfer system according to  claim 4 , wherein the processing request unit further includes a communication unit for transmitting the request generated by the generation unit to the authority transfer unit via the user apparatus. 
     
     
         6 . An authority transfer method executed by an information processing apparatus, the method comprising:
 generating, in response to a request of processing from a user apparatus operated by a user, a request containing processing information indicating contents of the processing;   transmitting the generated request to the authority transfer apparatus that decides whether or not an authority of the user with respect to the management apparatus as a requesting destination of the processing is transferred to the information processing apparatus; and   performing control to receive decision information indicating a result decision of whether to transmit the authority from the authority transfer apparatus based on a result whether or not the processing is executable is confirmed to the management apparatus and request the processing to the management apparatus according to the decision information.   
     
     
         7 . A recording medium storing a program causing a computer to work as an apparatus comprising:
 a transmission unit configured to receive a request generated by a processing request apparatus in response to a request of processing from a user apparatus operated by a user and containing processing information indicating contents of the processing and to transmit the request containing the processing information to a management apparatus as a requesting destination of the processing based on the request; and   a decision unit configured to decide that, in a case where a result of determination whether or not the processing is executable by the management apparatus in response to the request indicates that the processing is executable by the management apparatus, an authority of the user with respect to the management apparatus is to be transferred to the processing request apparatus.
