Cabana Golf

Abstract

“Cabana Golf” is set in a “driving range” type of atmosphere. Existing ranges would be a perfect fit to install “Cabana Golf”. The concept consists of taking practice at a driving range to the next level. The objective of this design is for the golfer to play a regular golf round from a single location, with shade from a cabana or tent. It has a distinct course design and complete set of rules. These rules are geared towards the basic strategy of traditional golf. This concept will allow a player to practice or compete with all types of golf shots without the physical stress of walking the course, poor weather or unavailable tee times. “Cabana Golf” will also assist the novice player to prepare him or her for the actual course.
