Abstract
An imaging apparatus includes an optical system, plural types of color filters, an imaging device including a plurality of pixels each receiving a light incident to the imaging apparatus through a predetermined type of color filter and being operable to generate image data with the plurality of pixels from the image formed by the optical system, a light information acquiring section operable to acquire information on the incident light, and a correction processing section operable to convert a position of a pixel of the image data formed by the pixels, according to at least type of the color filter provided for the pixel and the information on the incident light acquired by the light information acquiring section.

17 . An imaging apparatus comprising:
an optical system operable to form an image of a subject; a plurality of different types of color filters; an imaging device including a plurality of pixels each of which receives a light incident to the imaging apparatus through a predetermined type of color filter and being operable to generate analog image signals at the plurality of pixels from the image formed by said optical system; an AD converter operable to generate image data subjected to digital processing, from the analog image signals from said imaging device; a light information acquiring section operable to acquire information on the incident light; a light source setting section operable to set a type of a light source selected by a user from a plurality of types of light sources which is preset, and a correction processing section operable to convert a position of a pixel of the image data, according to type of the color filter provided for the pixel and the information on the incident light acquired by said light information acquiring section, wherein the light information acquiring section acquires the information which is set by the light source setting section as the information on the incident light.
18 . The imaging apparatus according to claim 17 , wherein the preset light source types include at least one of sunlight, an incandescent electric lamp, a fluorescent lamp, and a flash.

The imaging apparatus according to claim 17 , wherein the light information acquiring section acquires the information on the incident light based on the image data generated by the AD converter or data which is generated by applying a predetermined process to the image data generated by the AD converter.
20 . The imaging apparatus according to claim 18 , wherein said light information acquiring section acquires the information on the incident light based on a part of image data generated by the AD converter or a part of data which is generated by applying a predetermined process to the image data generated by the AD converter.
21 . The imaging apparatus according to claim 17 , wherein the correction processing section converts a position of a pixel of the image data, according to information on the optical system in addition to the type of the color filter and the information on the incident light.
22 . An imaging apparatus comprising:
an optical system operable to form an image of a subject; a plurality of different types of color filters; a plurality of imaging devices, each imaging device including a plurality of pixels, each pixel receiving a light incident to the imaging apparatus through a color filter, a type of the color filter provided for each imaging device is different depending on the imaging device, said plurality of imaging devices being operable to generate analog image signals at the plurality of pixels from the image formed by the optical system; an AD converter operable to generate image data subjected to digital processing, from the analog image signals from said imaging device; a light information acquiring section operable to acquire information on the incident light; a light source setting section operable to set a type of a light source selected by a user from a plurality of types of light sources which is preset,; and a correction processing section operable to convert a position of a pixel of the image data, according to type of the color filter provided for the pixel and the information on the incident light acquired by the light information acquiring section, wherein the light information acquiring section acquires the information which is set by the light source setting section as the information on the incident light.
23 . The imaging apparatus according to claim 22 , wherein the preset light source types include at least one of sunlight, an incandescent electric lamp, a fluorescent lamp, and a flash.

The imaging apparatus according to claim 22 , wherein the light information acquiring section acquires the information on the incident light based on the image data generated by the AD converter or data which is generated by applying a predetermined process to the image data generated by the AD converter.
25 . The imaging apparatus according to claim 24 , wherein the light information acquiring section acquires the information on the incident light based on a part of image data generated by the AD converter or a part of data which is generated by applying a predetermined process to the image data generated by the AD converter.
26 . The imaging apparatus according to claim 22 , wherein the correction processing section converts a position of a pixel of the image data, according to information on the optical system in addition to the type of the color filter and the information on the incident light.
27 . A method of correcting image data which is generated based on analog image signals generated by an imaging device having a plurality of pixels receiving incident light through a plurality of color filters, the method comprising:
generating image data subjected to digital processing, from the analog image signals from the imaging device; acquiring information on incident light based on a type of a light source selected by a user from a plurality of types of light sources which is preset, as information on the incident light; and converting a position of a pixel of the image data, according to a type of the color filter provided for the pixel and the information on the incident light.

The method according to claim 27 , wherein the information on the incident light is further acquired based on the image data or a part of the image data, or based on data generated by applying a predetermined process to the image data or a part of data obtained by applying a predetermined process to the image data.
29 . The method according to claim 27 , wherein a position of a pixel of the image data is converted according to information on the optical system in addition to the type of the color filter and the information on the incident light.
30 . A method of correcting image data which is generated based on image signals generated by a plurality of imaging devices, each imaging device having a plurality of pixels, each pixel receiving incident light through a color filter, and a type of a color filter provided for each imaging device being different depending on the imaging device,
the method comprising:
generating image data subjected to digital processing, from the analog image signals from the imaging device;
acquiring information on the incident light based on a type of a light source selected by a user from a plurality of types of light sources which is preset, as information on the incident light; and
converting a position of a pixel of the image data, according to type of the color filter provided for the pixel and the information on the incident light.
31 . The method according to claim 30 , wherein the information on the incident light is further acquired based on the image data or a part of the image data, or based on data generated by applying a predetermined process to the image data or a part of data obtained by a predetermined process to the image data.
