So that the toilet bowl is known for improved technical and hygienic properties, along with complete protection against soiling of the toilet seat and the surroundings of the toilet bowl, the urinal additionally has a hollow half-ring, arranged in the upper portion of the urinal. This half-ring repeats the shape of this portion of the urinal. The half-ring has a slit cut out along its entire inside, and in the course of using the urinal, water in the form of a continuous water curtain flows out over this slit. The water is conveyed by means of a faucet (handle) into the half-ring via a flexible hose. The hose is connected by means of a transition piece to a flexible main hose for supplying the toilet bowl with water.
