Abstract
The invention pertains to a roll arrangement ( 1, 101, 201 ), especially a roll arrangement of the work rolls ( 2, 3, 102, 103, 202, 203 ) of a rolling stand, which can be shifted in the axial direction by adjusting means ( 4, 104, 204 ), where the adjusting means ( 4, 104, 204 ) comprise at least one hydraulic cylinder ( 5, 6, 105, 106, 205 ), which controls the axial shiftability of the rolls, where the hydraulic cylinder is arranged in a frame, which is stationary or adjustable.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 4 . (canceled)
5 . A roll arrangement for a roll arrangement of work rolls of a rolling stand, comprising:
adjusting means for shifting the rolls in an axial direction, the adjusting means including at least one hydraulic cylinder that controls the axial shiftability of the rolls; a frame, the hydraulic cylinder being arranged in the frame, wherein the frame is modularly constructed and includes essentially three welded-together elements, including two legs that are parallel to each other, and a connecting crosspiece that connects the two legs together; and means for adjusting a bearing holder of the roll by a swiveling movement perpendicular to an axial direction and in the axial direction.
6 . The roll arrangement according to claim 5 , wherein the frame is stationary and connected to the rolling stand.
7 . The roll arrangement according to claim 5 , wherein the frame is adjustable and is connected to the bearing holders of the adjusting means.
8 . The roll arrangement according to claim 5 , wherein the adjusting means provide horizontal stabilization (HS) adjustment.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
