Abstract

An exercise apparatus comprising an elongate support member, an exercise attachment, a frame member, and lateral arm supports is provided. The elongate support member is removably attached to a support frame of the exercise apparatus. The exercise attachment, for example, a rod member, a strapping element, etc., is connected to a lower end of the elongate support member via a pulley system for supporting the user's arms and/or legs. The pulley system comprises a first pulley connected to the lower end of the elongate support member, and a cable rollably attached to the first pulley. The frame member is rigidly attached to the elongate support member. The lateral arm supports are rigidly attached on opposing sides of the frame member. The lateral arm supports extend outwardly from the frame member for supporting the user's arms. The user utilizes the exercise attachment and/or the lateral arm supports for performing an exercise.
