Bunk Bed Structure

Abstract

A bunk bed structure includes a plurality of supports and a number of posts. Each support includes a wedged slot mounted thereon for cooperation with the post and includes a screw hole fixed below the wedged slot. The post is used to fix a plate member. Each post includes a wedged tenon extending from an end portion thereof and includes a positioning piece secured below the wedged tenon and having an elongated bore. The post is inserted relative to the wedged slot by using the wedged tenon to align the elongated bore with the screw hole automatically. A screw is inserted through the elongated bore and into the screw hole to fix the post and the support together.

1 . A bunk bed structure comprising a plurality of supports and a number of posts, wherein
 each support includes a wedged slot mounted thereon and includes a screw hole fixed below and spaced from the wedged slot in a vertical direction;   each post is used to fix a plate member;   each post includes a wedged tenon extending from an end portion thereof and includes a positioning piece secured to and below the wedged tenon, with the positioning piece having an elongated bore;   the wedged tenon is inserted into the wedged slot, with the elongated bore aligned with the screw hole automatically; and   a screw inserted through the elongated bore and into the screw hole to fix the post and the support together, with the elongated bore having a height parallel to the vertical direction elongated in comparison to a width of the elongated bore perpendicular to the vertical direction, with the width of the elongated bore slideablv receiving the screw for movement in the vertical direction.
