Method of construction of an aircraft seat

Abstract

A method of construction of an aircraft seat frame is disclosed. The method includes providing at least one flat graphite composite plate of uniform construction and thickness, two-dimensional cutting of all primary structural components of the frame from the at least one flat graphite composite plate to form a plurality of primary structural components of uniform construction and thickness, assembling the plurality of primary structural components of uniform construction into a seat frame. A seat frame for use in an aircraft having a floor and an armrest for an aircraft seat are further disclosed.

A method of construction of an aircraft seat frame comprising providing at least one flat graphite composite plate of uniform construction and thickness, two-dimensional cutting of all primary structural components of the frame from the at least one flat graphite composite plate to form a plurality of primary structural components of uniform construction and thickness, and assembling the plurality of primary structural components of uniform construction into a seat frame. 
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1  wherein the plurality of primary structural components comprise a first part and a second part, the method further comprising connecting the first part to the second part at a mechanical joint that permits movement of the first part relative to the second part.
