Method and apparatus for generating directives for personnel

Abstract

A system and method include determining a recipient of an offer; and determining an offer which includes an activity and a benefit. The system and method further include transmitting, to a representative, instructions to provide the offer to the recipient. The system and method further include determining whether the recipient has performed the activity, and if so providing the benefit to the recipient.

1 . A method of operating a gaming system, said method comprising:
 maintaining a plurality of operator defined goals;   maintaining a plurality of different player activity defined scenarios, each scenario including at least one event associated with providing a prediction of future player activity and each scenario associated with a plurality of different defined outcomes, said outcomes determined in accordance with the operator goals;   receiving information identifying a player;   causing at least one processor to execute a plurality of instructions to retrieve player information associated with the identified player, the player information including first gaming data and second gaming data, the first gaming data relating to play of a casino style game, and the second gaming data relating to play of a non-casino style game;   causing the at least one processor to execute the plurality of instructions to compare the retrieved player information with the events in the plurality of scenarios;   when at least a portion of the retrieved player information matches at least one of the events in at least one of scenarios, causing the at least one processor to execute the plurality of instructions to classify the identified player in said at least one of the scenarios; and   providing at least one award to the identified player, the at least one award corresponding to the defined outcomes for said at least one scenario.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the casino style game is a wagering game selected from the group consisting of: a table game, slot game, and a game of chance provided on an electronic gaming machine. 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the non-casino style game is a sports betting wagering game. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the non-casino style game is a non-wagering game selected from the group consisting of: a bingo game, and a lottery game. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the player information is gathered from a plurality of gaming areas. 
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 5 , wherein the gaming areas are located in a single gaming venue. 
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 5 , wherein the gaming areas are situated in a plurality of gaming venues. 
     
     
         8 . The method of  claim 5 , wherein the gaming areas include at least one selected from the group consisting of: a gaming machine area, a table game area, a keno area, a sports betting area, a lottery ticket area, and a bingo area. 
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the operator defined goals include at least one selected from the group consisting of: play of a plurality of specified games, play of a plurality of specified types of games, play in a plurality of specified gaming areas, shopping at a plurality of specified stores, and a plurality of specified purchases. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the retrieved player information includes at least one selected from the group consisting of: a net worth, a player profile, and historical game play information. 
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the retrieved player information includes at least one transaction. 
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one award includes at least one selected from the group consisting of: a plurality of loyalty points, a plurality of promotions, a plurality of tickets and a plurality of coupons. 
     
     
         13 . The method of  claim 1 , which is provided through a data network. 
     
     
         14 . The method of  claim 13 , wherein the data network is an internet. 
     
     
         15 . A data processing device configured to: (i) communicate with a plurality of data acquisition servers in respective gaming areas over a data network, and (ii) direct future activity of players of games of chance according to a plurality of different operator defined goals and a plurality of different player activity defined scenarios, wherein each scenario includes at least one event associated with providing a prediction of future player activity and each scenario is associated with a plurality of defined outcomes, said outcomes determined in accordance with the operator goals, the data processing device comprising:
 (a) an interface; and   (b) at least one processor configured to operate with the interface to:
 (i) receive information identifying a player; 
 (ii) retrieve player information associated with the identified player, the player information including first gaming data and second gaming data, the first gaming data relating to play of a casino style game, and the second gaming data relating to play of a non-casino style game; 
 (iii) compare the retrieved player information with the events in the plurality of scenarios; 
 (iv) when at least a portion of the retrieved player information matches at least one of the events in at least one of scenarios, classify the identified player in said at least one of the scenarios; and 
 (v) provide at least one award to the identified player, the at least one award corresponding to the defined outcomes for said at least one scenario. 
   
     
     
         16 . The data processing device of  claim 15 , wherein the casino style game is a wagering game selected from the group consisting of: a table game, slot game, and a game of chance provided on an electronic gaming machine. 
     
     
         17 . The data processing device of  claim 15 , wherein the non-casino style game is a sports betting wagering game. 
     
     
         18 . The data processing device of  claim 15 , wherein the non-casino style game is a non-wagering game selected from the group consisting of: a bingo game, and a lottery game. 
     
     
         19 . The data processing device of  claim 15 , wherein the player information is gathered from a plurality of gaming areas. 
     
     
         20 . The data processing device of  claim 19 , wherein the gaming areas are located in a single gaming venue. 
     
     
         21 . The data processing device of  claim 19 , wherein the gaming areas are situated in a plurality of gaming venues. 
     
     
         22 . The data processing device of  claim 19 , wherein the gaming areas include at least one selected from the group consisting of: a gaming machine area, a table game area, a keno area, a sports betting area, a lottery ticket area, and a bingo area. 
     
     
         23 . The data processing device of  claim 15 , wherein the operator defined goals include at least one selected from the group consisting of: play of a plurality of specified games, play of a plurality of specified types of games, play in a plurality of specified gaming areas, shopping at a plurality of specified stores, and a plurality of specified purchases. 
     
     
         24 . The data processing device of  claim 15 , wherein the retrieved player information includes at least one selected from the group consisting of: a net worth, a player profile, and historical game play information. 
     
     
         25 . The data processing device of  claim 15 , wherein the retrieved player information includes at least one transaction. 
     
     
         26 . The data processing device of  claim 15 , wherein the at least one award includes at least one selected from the group consisting of: a plurality of loyalty points, a plurality of promotions, a plurality of tickets and a plurality of coupons.
