Abstract
A health and fitness device is described, which may be operated hands-free without requiring the user to remain in a single position. The health and fitness device S includes a casing with multiple openings, multiple cables where an end of a cable is configured to detachably couple with an end of another cable, and a tension mechanism unit housed within the casing is configured to retract the multiple cables into the tension mechanism unit through the multiple openings. When the one cable is coupled to the other cable, the health and fitness device may be secured onto an object or the positioned on the body of the user and used for various practical applications such as self-massage.

a casing having an outer surface comprising a substantially curved three-dimensional shape; a tension mechanism unit housed within the casing, the tension mechanism unit being coupled to an inner surface of the casing; a plurality of cables wherein a proximate end of each of the plurality of cables is coupled to the tension mechanism unit, a distal end of at least one of the plurality of cables is configured to detachably couple to another distal end of another of the plurality of cables; a first clamp coupled to one of the plurality of cables, the first clamp configured to fix a position of the one of the plurality of cables; and a second clamp coupled to the another of the plurality of cables, the second clamp configured to fix another position of the another of the plurality of cables.
2 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the distal end is coupled to a clip.
3 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the another distal end is coupled to a loop, wherein the loop and the clip are configured to detachably couple with one another.
4 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the apparatus is secured to an object when the distal end is coupled to the another distal end.
5 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the casing further comprises:
a top casing, wherein the inner surface of the top casing is coupled to a top portion of the tension mechanism unit; and a bottom casing, wherein the inner surface of the bottom casing is coupled to a bottom portion of the tension mechanism unit.
6 . The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein the top casing and the bottom casing are configured to detachably couple with one another.
7 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the tension mechanism unit comprises a plurality of tensioned coils and a plurality of spools, wherein each of the plurality of cables is associated with one of the plurality of tensioned coils and one of the plurality of spools.
8 . The apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the proximate end of each of the plurality of cables is coupled to one of the plurality of tensioned coils.
9 . The apparatus of claim 7 , wherein each of the plurality of tensioned coils is associated with one of the plurality of spools, wherein one end of each of the plurality of tensioned coils is coupled to one of the plurality of spools.
10 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the tension mechanism unit comprises at least one tensioner, wherein the at least one tensioner is configured to adjust a tension provided by the tension mechanism unit.

12 . The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising a housing detachably coupled to the casing, the housing having an outer surface comprising a substantially curved three-dimensional shape.
13 . The apparatus of claim 12 , wherein the housing comprises a top housing portion and a bottom housing portion, the top housing portion detachably coupled to a top casing and the bottom housing portion detachably coupled to a bottom casing.
14 . A device, comprising:
a casing having an outer surface comprising a substantially spherical shape, the casing having a first opening and a second opening disposed along an axis of the casing; a housing having another outer surface comprising another substantially spherical shape; a tension mechanism unit housed within the casing and coupled to an inside surface of the casing; a first strap projecting through the first opening, the first strap having a first end and a second end; a second strap projecting through the second opening, the second strap having another first end and another second end, the first strap and the second strap being configured to retract into the casing, the first end and the another first end being coupled to the tension mechanism unit; and a first fastener disposed at the second end and a second fastener disposed at the another second end, the first fastener and the second fastener being configured to detachably couple together.
15 . The device of claim 14 , wherein the housing has a third opening and a fourth opening, the position of the third opening coincides with the position of the first opening and the position of the fourth opening coincides with the position of the second opening.
16 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the another outer surface further comprises a texture.
17 . The device of claim 14 , wherein the tension mechanism unit comprises a tensioner, the tensioner configured to control a tension generated by the tension mechanism unit, the tension configured to retract the first strap into the casing.
18 . The device of claim 14 , further comprising a clamp coupled to the first strap, the clamp configured to temporarily fix a position of the first strap.

a vibrating mechanism configured to generate a vibration in the device; and an electrical source, the electrical source configured to supply power to the vibrating mechanism.
21 . The device of claim 20 , wherein the vibration comprises a rhythmic movement.
