Abstract
A mop includes a handle; a base seat fixedly disposed at a bottom end of the handle; two links, top ends of the links being pivotally connected with two lateral sides of the base seat; and a compression seat including a pivot block and two compression boards pivotally connected therewith. Bottom ends of the links are pivotally connected with the compression boards. A foam rubber is disposed under bottom face of the compression seat. When shifting a shift lever, via a drive rod, the compression seat is moved into the base seat or moved out of the base seat and stretched to straighten the foam rubber. In the stretched state, the two links are tilted and a distance between bottom pivot points of the links is larger than a distance between top pivot points thereof. Outer lateral faces of the links abut against two lateral sides of the base seat as supports.

a handle; a shift lever pivotally mounted on the handle to be shifted by a user's hand; a base seat fixedly disposed at a bottom end of the handle, the base seat having two seat sections and a space defined between the two seat sections; the seat sections being hollow, and the space having an opening, which is directed downward; two links each having a top end and a bottom end, the top ends of the links being respectively pivotally connected with bottom ends of the seat sections, the top ends of the links being positioned in the base seat of the base seat; a compression seat including a pivot block and two compression boards, each compression board including a fixed board and a slide board, a top face of the slide board being relatively slidably connected with a bottom face of the fixed board by insertion, whereby inner ends of the slide boards are able to slide out of inner ends of the fixed boards, the bottom ends of the links being pivotally connected with top faces of the fixed boards respectively, the inner ends of the slide boards being pivotally connected with two lateral sides of the pivot block, a foam rubber being disposed under bottom faces of the slide boards; and a drive rod, a top end of the drive rod being connected with the shift lever, a bottom end of the drive rod being connected with the pivot block of the compression seat, when shifting the shift lever, the compression seat being driven via the drive rod to move into the space of the base seat or out of the space, whereby the pivot block and the compression boards of the compression seat are stretched to straighten the foam rubber, in the stretched and straightened state, the two links being tilted and a distance between bottom pivot points of the links being larger than a distance between top pivot points of the links, outer lateral faces of the links being in abutment with two lateral sides of the base seat respectively.

The mop as claimed in claim 1 , wherein each slide board has a sliding dead end when sliding out of the fixed board, whereby when the compression seat is moved into the space of the base seat and the bottom ends of the links are angularly displaced to a lowermost point, the slide boards move to the sliding dead ends.

The mop as claimed in claim 2 , wherein each fixed board is formed with at least two elongated slots positioned on two lateral sides of the fixed board respectively, at least two latch holes are formed on each slide board corresponding to the latch holes respectively, two connection plates are fixedly disposed on top face of the foam rubber, at least two buckles are disposed on top faces of the connection plates for latching in the latch holes of the compression boards, the buckles of the connection plates extend into the slots of the fixed boards, a gap is defined to space each buckle from the inner end wall of each slot, whereby when the buckles touch the inner end walls of the slots, the inner end walls of the slots serve as the sliding dead ends of the slide boards.

The mop as claimed in claim 2 , wherein a raised section is disposed on an inner wall face of each fixed board and a raised section is disposed on an inner wall face of each slide board corresponding to the raised section of the fixed board, whereby when the raised section of the slide board touches the raised section of the fixed board, the raised section of the fixed board serves as the sliding dead end of the slide board.

The mop as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a rail is longitudinally formed on bottom face of each fixed board, an insertion rib is disposed on top face of each slide board, the insertion rib is inserted in the rail of the fixed board, whereby the slide board is slidable relative to the fixed board.

The mop as claimed in claim 2 , wherein a rail is longitudinally formed on bottom face of each fixed board, an insertion rib is disposed on top face of each slide board, the insertion rib is inserted in the rail of the fixed board, whereby the slide board is slidable relative to the fixed board.

The mop as claimed in claim 3 , wherein a rail is longitudinally formed on bottom face of each fixed board, an insertion rib is disposed on top face of each slide board, the insertion rib is inserted in the rail of the fixed board, whereby the slide board is slidable relative to the fixed board.

The mop as claimed in claim 4 , wherein a rail is longitudinally formed on bottom face of each fixed board, an insertion rib is disposed on top face of each slide board, the insertion rib is inserted in the rail of the fixed board, whereby the slide board is slidable relative to the fixed board.
9 . The mop as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the outer lateral face of each link is provided with an abutment section in abutment with the base seat.
10 . The mop as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the outer lateral face of each link is provided with an abutment section in abutment with the base seat.
11 . The mop as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the outer lateral face of each link is provided with an abutment section in abutment with the base seat.
12 . The mop as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the outer lateral face of each link is provided with an abutment section in abutment with the base seat.
13 . The mop as claimed in claim 5 , wherein the outer lateral face of each link is provided with an abutment section in abutment with the base seat.
14 . The mop as claimed in claim 1 , wherein each link has an inclination angle within a range from 20° to 75°.
15 . The mop as claimed in claim 2 , wherein each link has an inclination angle within a range from 20° to 75°.
16 . The mop as claimed in claim 3 , wherein each link has an inclination angle within a range from 20° to 75°.
17 . The mop as claimed in claim 4 , wherein each link has an inclination angle within a range from 20° to 75°.
