Abstract
Beach chair with sun protective device with a folding beach chair frame made of tubular metal and water resistant fabric and a pair of arm supports, a sun shade mounted on a spring retractable roller, a shade attachment bar, a pair of shade attachment hooks, a pair of back extension rods and a pair of leg extension rods. The back extension rods are extendable from the back support tubes of the beach chair frame. The leg extension rods are extendable from the rear leg support tubes of the beach chair frame. The roller and the shade are mounted to the back extension rods so that when a user extends the back extension rods and the leg extension rods, he or she can pull out the shade from the spring roller and attach the shade to the shade attachment hooks to form an overhead sun shade.
