Abstract

An apparatus, capable of being conveyed on wireline, for continuous downhole injection of foaming agent(s) and/or beneficial chemical(s), comprising a reservoir and means for dispensing foaming agent(s) and/or beneficial chemical(s) from the reservoir of such apparatus and into the surrounding wellbore environment.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An apparatus for continuous downhole fluid release and well evaluation comprising:
 a. a container having an inner surface, an outer surface and a fluid reservoir; b. at least one inlet port extending from said outer surface of said container to said fluid reservoir; c. a traveling piston movably disposed in said reservoir; d. an electric pump having a fluid inlet in communication with said reservoir; e. a power source for said electric pump; and f. at least one outlet port extending from said electric pump to said outer surface of said container.

2 . The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising a timer for selectively actuating said electric pump.

3 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein said reservoir contains foaming agent.

4 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein said traveling piston is at all times situated between the inlet port of said reservoir and said electric pump.
