Abstract
A ventilating device and an outdoor unit including the same are disclosed. More particularly, the present invention relates to a ventilating device including a counter-rotating fan having improved wind ventilation efficiency as well as minimized noise generated during the fan operation.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An outdoor unit comprising:
a housing that includes an inlet and an outlet; an outdoor heat exchanger provided in the housing; a ventilating device in the housing between the inlet and the outlet, the ventilating device comprising:
a first fan having a plurality of first blades arranged about a first shaft in a radial direction;
a second fan having a plurality of second blades arranged about a second shaft in the radial direction, wherein the first shaft of the first fan and the second shaft of the second fan are arranged on a same axis, and a shaft direction height of each first blade of the first fan is different from a shaft direction height of each second blade of the second fan; and
at least one motor configured to rotate the first fan in a first rotational direction and to rotate the second fan in a second rotational direction that is different than the first rotational direction.
2 . The outdoor unit of claim 1 , wherein the first fan is provided between the outdoor heat exchanger and the second fan.
3 . The outdoor unit of claim 2 , wherein the second fan to generate a pressure difference to make external air drawn via the inlet and the air is heat-exchanged by the outdoor heat exchanger, and the air is discharged via the outlet.
4 . The outdoor unit of claim 1 , wherein the shaft direction height of each second blade of the second fan is 1 to 4 times more than the shaft direction height of each first blade of the first fan.
5 . The outdoor unit of claim 1 , wherein each first blade of the first fan and each second blade of the second fan have a pitch angle within a range of 20 degrees to 30 degrees.
6 . The outdoor unit of claim 1 , wherein each first blade of the first fan and each second blade of the second fan have a sweep angle within a range of 20 degrees to 60 degrees.
7 . The outdoor unit of claim 1 , wherein the at least one motor includes:
a first motor to drive the first fan; and a second motor to drive the second fan.
8 . The outdoor unit of claim 7 , wherein the first motor is arranged in a first direction and the second motor is arranged in a second direction that is opposite to the first direction.
9 . The outdoor unit of claim 8 , wherein a rotational speed of the first motor is different than a rotational speed of the second motor.
10 . The outdoor unit of claim 9 , wherein the rotational speed of the second motor is greater than the rotational speed of the first motor.
11 . The outdoor unit of claim 10 , wherein the rotational speed of the second motor is 2 to 3 times more than the rotational speed of the first motor.
12 . The outdoor unit of claim 1 , wherein each first blade of the first fan has a different directional shape than each second blade of the second fan.
13 . A ventilating device comprising:
a first fan having a plurality of first blades arranged in a radial direction; a second fan having a plurality of second blades arranged in the radial direction; a first motor to drive the first fan; and a second motor to drive the second fan, wherein each first blade of the first fan has a different directional slope than each second blade of the second fan, and a shaft direction height of each second blade of the second fan is greater than a shaft direction height of each first blade of the first fan.
14 . The ventilating device of claim 13 , wherein the shaft direction height of each second blade of the second fan is 1 to 4 times more than the height of each first blade of the first fan.
15 . The ventilating device of claim 13 , wherein each first blade of the first fan and each second blade of the second fan have a pitch angle within a range of 20 degrees to 30 degrees.
16 . The ventilating device of claim 13 , wherein each first blade of the first fan and each second blade of the second fan have a sweep angle within a range of 20 degrees to 60 degrees.
17 . The ventilating device of claim 13 , wherein the first motor is arranged in a first direction and the second motor is arranged in a second direction, and a single motor mount is located therebetween.
18 . The ventilating device of claim 17 , wherein a rotational speed of the second motor is greater than a rotational speed of the first motor.
19 . The ventilating device of claim 18 , wherein the rotational speed of the second motor is 2 to 3 times more than the rotational speed of the first motor.
20 . The ventilating device of claim 13 , wherein the first motor rotates the first blades of the first fan in a first rotational direction and the second fan rotates the second blades of the second fan in a second rotational direction that is opposite to the first rotational direction.
21 . An apparatus comprising:
a housing having an inlet and an outlet; a heat exchanger provided in the housing; a ventilating device in the housing between the inlet and the outlet, the ventilating device comprising:
a first fan having a plurality of first blades to rotate about a first shaft in a first rotational direction;
a second fan having a plurality of second blades to rotate about a second shaft in a second rotational axis, wherein the first shaft and the second shaft are arranged along a straight line, a height of one of the second blades of the second fan is greater than a height of each second blade of the second fan, and the first fan is provided between the heat exchanger and the second fan; and
