Abstract
A wireless mode between a scanner and an image communication apparatus is changed, in response to completion of image transmission from the scanner to the image communication apparatus, completion of print of the image sent from the scanner to the image communication apparatus, completion of transmission via a communication line connected to the image communication apparatus of the image sent from the scanner to the image communication apparatus, instructions to stop print of the image sent from the scanner to the image communication apparatus, instructions to stop transmission via the communication line connected to the image communication apparatus of the image sent from the scanner to the image communication apparatus, and states of the scanner and the image communication apparatus at a predetermined time and so on. For example, a low power consumption mode and communication mode of Bluetooth communication are switched to each other.

30 . An image capture apparatus comprising:
an image capture unit which captures an image; a communication unit which has a communication mode for communicating an image with another apparatus and a low-power consumption mode for reducing electrical power for communicating with the other apparatus; a detection unit which detects that the other apparatus completes output of the image which is transmitted to the other apparatus by the communication unit and is received by the other apparatus; and a changing unit which changes a mode of the communication unit from the communication mode to the low-power consumption mode after the detection unit detects the completion of output the image by the other apparatus.
31 . The image capture apparatus according to claim 30 , the detection unit detects the completion of output process by the other apparatus, based on a notification of the completion of output process from the other apparatus.
32 . The image capture apparatus according to claim 30 , the changing unit requests the other apparatus to change a mode, when changing to the low-power consumption mode.
33 . The image capture apparatus according to claim 30 , the detection unit detects the completion of printout an image by the other apparatus.
34 . The image capture apparatus according to claim 30 , the detection unit detects the completion of transmitting an image via a communication line to be connected to the other apparatus.
35 . The image capture apparatus according to claim 30 , further comprising a halt unit which halts the communication of the communication unit when a predetermined period of time elapses after changing to the low-power consumption mode by the changing unit.
36 . The image capture apparatus according to claim 30 , further comprising a display unit which displays the completion of output process in response to that the detection unit detects the completion of output process by the other apparatus.
37 . The image capture apparatus according to claim 36 , the changing unit changes to the low-power consumption mode after the displaying process by the display unit.
38 . A communication method of an image capture apparatus, the method comprising steps of:
detecting that another apparatus completes output of an image which is transmitted to the other apparatus and is received by the other apparatus; and changing a mode of the communicating with the other apparatus from a communication mode for communicating an image to a low-power consumption mode for reducing electrical power for communicating with the other apparatus, after detecting the completion of output by the other apparatus in the detection step.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
