Abstract

An operation state detection device comprises data communication devices and a detection device. The data communication devices are respectively attached to an operator, and a person or an object as an operation target. The data communication devices mutually perform data communication when the operator contacts the person or the object and thereby a path is formed through the operator, and the person or the object. The detection device detects the data communication performed between the data communication devices.

1 . A communication apparatus comprising:
 a transmitting electrode;   a reference electrode;   a voltage application circuit that applies a voltage for contact communication to an object including a living body between the transmission electrode and the reference electrode; and   a bypass circuit that connects the voltage application circuit in parallel with the transmission electrode and the reference electrode.   
     
     
         2 . The communication apparatus as set forth in  claim 1  wherein
 one of a circuit that connects the transmission electrode and the reference electrode via the voltage application circuit or the bypass circuit selectively becomes active. 
 
     
     
         3 . A communication apparatus comprising:
 a receiving electrode;   a reference electrode;   a voltage detection circuit that detects a voltage for contact communication applied to an object including a living body between the receiving electrode and the reference electrode; and   a bypass circuit that connects the voltage detection circuit in parallel with the receiving electrode and the reference electrode.   
     
     
         4 . The communication apparatus as set forth in  claim 3  wherein
 one of a circuit that connects the receiving electrode and the reference electrode via the voltage detection circuit or the bypass circuit selectively becomes active.
