Method and system for publishing and subscribing in social network

Abstract

A system for transmission, reception and accumulation of the knowledge packets to plurality of channel nodes in the network operating distributedly in a peer to peer environment via installable one or more role active Human Operating System (HOS) applications in a digital devise of each of channel node, a network controller registering and providing desired HOS applications and multiple developers developing advance communication and knowledge management applications and each of subscribers exploiting the said network resources by leveraging and augmenting taxonomically and ontologically classified knowledge classes expressed via plurality search macros and UKID structures facilitating said expert human agents for knowledge invocation and support services and service providers providing information services in the preidentified taxonomical classes, wherein each of channel nodes communicating with the unknown via domain specific supernodes each facilitating social networking and relationships development leading to human grid which is searchable via Universal Desktop Search by black box search module.

1 . A method for publishing and subscribing in a social network, the method comprising:
 allowing user to manage Human Operating System (HOS) including one or more profiles, activities, applications, services, actions, transactions, groups, searching, sharing, communication, collaboration, contents and connections;   receiving and storing each registered user's one or more profile(s), user data, preferences and relational connections or dynamic relationships;   dynamically publishing one or more selectable users contents via one or more publications;   allow user to dynamically subscribing one or more selected contents from selected publications received from one or more connected or related users in the social network;   presenting or updating the subscribed contents to subscribing user based on one or more criteria and preferences to user interface.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the one or more selectable subscription of publications comprises subscription of publications from one or more social or personal networks or groups of users of the social network. 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 2 , wherein at least one of the groups of users is created based on match making of the users preferences and profiles. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the one or more selectable publications includes a user-defined list of publishers or publications of other users including known and anonymous users of the social network. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the one or more selectable subscriptions of publications include one or more content filters and preferences that identify a type of content from the received content items. 
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 5 , wherein one of the content filters identifies one or more multimedia content types including text, videos, images, URL, files and databases. 
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 5 , wherein one of the content filters identifies content from one or more applications, utilities, services, workspaces, auto recorded or generated journal contents and sources within the social network. 
     
     
         8 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein publication synchronizing types includes snapshot, merge and transactional synchronization. 
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein subscriptions types included pull and push subscriptions from related or connected and matched or anonymous users of the social network. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein presenting or updating in the user interface one or more content items received from users comprises presenting a received contents of one or more subscribed publications. 
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 10 , wherein the content from publication(s) comprises a content of publication(s) that includes a real time filtered published content items provided by connected users of user. 
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 10 , wherein the content from publication(s) comprises a dynamic or auto generated content publication(s) that includes a filtered content items selected by the social network as a function of a dynamic relationship between the user and the content items. 
     
     
         13 . The method of  claim 12 , wherein the content items in the dynamic or auto generated publication or feed include journal entries about actions taken by other users. 
     
     
         14 . The method of  claim 10 , wherein the publication(s) further includes advertisements.

The method of  claim 1 , further comprising: providing Human Operating System (HOS) including one or more applications, services, modules, utilities to user for managing one or more activities, profiles, surveys, search macros, contents, connections, actions, events, transactions, groups, searching, generating, uploading and sharing contents and communication and collaboration to the connected or related users of the social network.

The method of  claim 1 , wherein user can create one or more publications including one or more selective content items or multimedia contents like text, images, video, audio, files, user data including profiles, search macros, survey data, search results, transaction specific contents, auto generated or recorded journal contents, desktop resources, workspaces and structured databases contents, status, messages or communication data, explorer specific full or partial contents items, list or content of applications, services and sources. 
     
     
         17 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein publication and subscribing based on one or more topology models including users of social network and central server can act as a publisher as well as subscriber role.

The method of  claim 1 , wherein publisher can apply rules, publication settings and privacy settings to one or more publications including allow anonymous subscription of publication, allow subscription of publication to selected one or more related or connected users of the social network, schedule one or more publications, set publication as snapshot or merge or transactional type, filter one or more content items of one or more publication(s) for one or more connected or related users of the social network.

The method of  claim 1 , wherein subscriber can apply rules, subscription settings and privacy settings to one or more subscriptions of publications from one or more connected or related users or central server including allow pull or push subscription types from one or more selected or related users, filter one or more content items of one or more subscriptions of publication(s) from one or more connected or related users of the social network or central server, ordering and sorting the contents based on one or more filters, wherein filters based on one or more connected users, date and time, sources, locations, keywords, applications, services, multimedia content types.

The method of  claim 1 , wherein dynamically presenting or updating selective one or more contents in real time from one or more selective subscriptions of publications from one or more related or connected users of user or central server to user interface based on one or more criteria and preferences.

A method for displaying content in a social network, the method comprising: receiving users generated content of a social network; receiving a request for subscribed publication from a user of the social network; providing a user interface for display to a client device of the user responsive to the request, wherein the user interface comprises: a content publication or feed that includes a one or more content items provided by other users to whom the user has a connection, a journal feed that includes a one or more content items selected by the social network as a function of dynamic relationship or connection between the user and the content items or between the user and other users of the social network, and one or more selectable filters, each filter specifying a criteria to be applied to the content items; receiving a selection of a filter from the user; and responsive to the selection, updating the user interface to be displayed by the client device, wherein at least one of the content publication or feed and the journal feed are updated to include only those content items consistent with the selected filter. 
     
     
         22 . A system for publishing and subscribing in a social network, the system comprises of:
 a user interface for Human Operating System (HOS) configured for user of the social network to manage one or more profiles, activities, applications, services, actions, transactions, groups, search, share, communication, collaboration, contents and connections;   a communications module configured to receive and store a plurality of one or more profile(s), user data, content items, preferences and relational connections or dynamic relationships from registered users of the social network;   a user interface publishing module configured to provide a user interface to a user of the social network via the communications module, to dynamically publish one or more selectable users contents via one or more publications;   a user interface subscribing module configured to provide a user interface to a user of the social network via the communications module, to dynamically subscribe one or more selected contents from selected publications received from one or more connected or related users in the social network;   wherein the communications module is further configured to present or update the subscribed contents to subscribing user based on one or more criteria and preferences to user interface.   
     
     
         23 . The system as claimed in  claim 22 , wherein the one or more selectable subscription of publications comprises subscription of publications from one or more social or personal networks or groups of users of the social network.

The system as claimed in  claim 31 , wherein the content from publication(s) comprises a dynamic or auto generated content publication(s) that includes a filtered content items selected by the social network as a function of a dynamic relationship between the user and the content items.

The system as claimed in  claim 22 , wherein user is enabled to create one or more publications including one or more selective content items or multimedia contents like text, images, video, audio, files, user data including profiles, search macros, survey data, search results, transaction specific contents, auto generated or recorded journal contents, desktop resources, workspaces and structured databases contents, status, messages or communication data, explorer specific full or partial contents items, list or content of applications, services and sources. 
     
     
         38 . The system as claimed in  claim 22 , wherein central server or users of social network is adapted to act as a publisher and subscriber role based on one or more topology models.

The system as claimed in  claim 22 , publisher is configured to apply rules, publication settings and privacy settings to one or more publications including allow anonymous subscription of publication, allow subscription of publication to selected one or more related or connected users of the social network, schedule one or more publications, set publication as snapshot or merge or transactional type, filter one or more content items of one or more publication(s) for one or more connected or related users of the social network.

The system as claimed in  claim 22 , wherein subscriber is configured to apply rules, subscription settings and privacy settings to one or more subscriptions of publications from one or more connected or related users or central server including allow pull or push subscription types from one or more selected or related users, filter one or more content items of one or more subscriptions of publication(s) from one or more connected or related users of the social network or central server, order and sort the contents based on one or more filters, wherein filters based on one or more connected users, date and time, sources, locations, keywords, applications, services, multimedia content types.

The system as claimed in  claim 22 , wherein dynamically present or update selective one or more contents in real time from one or more selective subscriptions of publications from one or more related or connected users of user or central server to user interface based on one or more criteria and preferences.
